On July 2, 2018, Nintendo Co., Ltd. published an extraordinary report featuring the voting results of Nintendo's 78th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held June 28. The results are as follows:

Approval rating

Shigeru Miyamoto (Representative Director, Fellow) : 97.37 %
Shinya Takahashi (Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer): 97.28 %
Shuntaro Furukawa (Representative Director and President): 96.51 %
Ko Shiota (Director, Senior Executive Officer): 97.28 %
Satoru Shibata (Director, Senior Executive Officer): 97.28 %

In comparison, Tatsumi Kimishima saw an approval rating of 87.14 % in his first year as president.

He's succeeding Kimishima and he's been saying what shareholders love to hear in regards to the smart phone business. Let's see where Nintendo stands in 2-3 years.
