Hell yes.
President Warren and first female president sound better.
If we're considering representation in leadership... What about first Jewish president? I wouldn't mind Warren but let's not pretend first Jewish president wouldn't be plenty monumental.
She was either going to endorse Sanders or nobody at all.
A lot of people seemed convinced she'd go for Warren, for some reason, and are going to raise Hell now that's she's done the only thing that makes sense.

Warren had a bad debate and is losing a key progressive in the party to Sanders, really going to be interesting to see if/how this affects polls.

Bad idea.
warren is the most likely to carry out any progressive ideals, and this is just in the end bad for sanders becuase it’s my opinion that nationally AOC isn’t that well liked.

Not really surprising but I worry this will further galvanize the tribalism that's already going on. Sanders needed some good news though so hopefully it helps him keep pushing the conversation left.

IANAPA, but as I understand it you generally want your VP to cover your weaknesses, not be the Pespi to your Coke. So it wouldn't make much sense for either to pick the other as their running mate, they'd want someone moderate to sway the centrists.
I think that, demographic wise, Sanders covers Warren's weaknesses (young people of color mostly). She seems to do fair well with older voters.

You should support who you believe in not what's most likely to help you in your career. Its why many people are slightly worried about Warrens decision in 2016 to endorse Hillary over Bernie, clearly she agrees with Bernie on most things yet endorsed who she thought would beat Donals, her support could've changed the tide.
Eh Warren endorsing Bernie wouldn't have changed anything. She wouldn't have helped him in his biggest area of weakness. Would have led to the same outcome.

Age is the only thing i have concerns aboit with Sanders. When it comes to principles he's easily the best choice

This is a very faulthy logic. Do you think AOC won't endorse Warren whe she becomes the nominee? Will that hurt her? Right now what matters is the primaries game, and this is a great move for Bernie, since AOC is revered by pèople who will vote in the primaries.

Loving this progressive coalition they’ve got going here. It draws a real line in the sand between where Warren and Sanders are and what they differ on. AOC speaking appearances at Bernie rallies is also gonna be a huge media event, the major news networks are obsessed with her.

Bernie just stole the thunder of the entire debate tonight by dropping these endorsements, lol. Everyone will be talking about this over any wins Warren or Biden got.

The heart attack comments are the same "a socialist will never win" defeatist shit. He's still the best candidate. Lets go.

Wow, he’s got the whole squad. I am quite shocked. I thought for sure if anybody was going to get them before the primaries, it would’ve been Warren.

I'll never get how people can take an honest look at Bernie and want him as president. He would be 83 at the end of his first term and just had a heart attack. There is a VERY real chance he doesn't survive his term. I get why folks like him and his politics, but Warren is very close to them and Isn't likely to keel over mid term.

So far in this thread the only weird salty takes are from Bernie supporters salivating over the inevitable salty Warren supporter takes. Everyone else seems reasonable.

Its like either

A. Hmm I have doubts about Sanders because... or I have doubts about this working because...

or

B. LOL Warren fans bout to be so mad

For the record, I don't think this will shift Bernie's campaign too much as I'd imagine there's almost a 99% crossover of Bernie and AOC fans to begin with. I also don't think this will help in states where he's struggling. I do appreciate her sticking to her values and I believe this will help continue her credibility down the road as someone who is not corrupt and fights for what she believes in.
