Well, yeah. It took Boogie just under a year to recover, no? This injury took place in June and there's no way he should return during the playoffs of next year. That's just asking for a career ending injury (hopefully this one isn't).

This is like the Grant Hill situation in 2000. He still got paid, but was never the same.

Warriors aren't gonna let him walk. Clearing his salary off the books doesn't help since they're already over the tax anyways.
