Was there any announcements in regards to Dragon Quest Builders 2 on the Switch?

There was a Square Enix livestream event 9 hours ago:



And then someone mentioned about Dragon Quest Builders 2 may potentially come to the Switch.

I don't know a ton of Japanese, and seeing how this is pretty recent, I thought it's best to ask around first.

So, what's the consensus?

It was announced for the Switch from the very start.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 has been announced for PS4 and Switch months ago.

Builders 2 was announced for Switch the day it was originally announced. It's why the original Builders was such a surprise on Switch. I assumed they were just going forward with the sequel.

Also, if you go to 20:20 in the video is shows the game logo along with the logos for PS4 and Switch ;)

It was announced back in August 2017 that the game would launch for PS4 and Switch in Japan.
