We could have gotten back after one day too, but my kid is preK so that age was cancelled, when others had late start. So much time with kids at home. I'll stock up on groceries and gin.

I grew up in Arkansas so snow is nothing new to me. It's just something I haven't really dealt with in over 10 years.
It's because it melts and then freezes, over and over, just creating a thick layer of ice over everything. It is terrible.
