In 2019, I enjoy watching Congressional oversight hearings with twitch chat memes. Everything is terrible but this is pretty cool I guess.

Washington Post correspondents will be answering questions from Twitch chat.

I love that the Washington Post has been streaming this sort of stuff on Twitch. It's interesting to watch on its own, but Twitch chat brings it to a new level.

JUST IN: In his prepared opening statement, Acting AG Whitaker tells the House Judiciary Committee, "I will continue the longstanding Executive Branch policy and practice of not disclosing information that may be subject to executive privilege." h/t @PaulaReidCBS

Whitaker says such information covered by executive privilege may include "the contents of deliberations or conversations with the President."

I hope they subpoena him while he's sitting there. He'll definitely claim executive privilege on anything interesting and not answer. Nadler only assured no subpoena as long as he answered everything.

He's not going to say much, if every conversation he had with the president is going to be considered executive privilege...

Nadler: Like everyone else you're entitled to your own opinions. When career officials took steps to mitigate your conflict of interest, you ignored them. You decided your interest was more important than integrity of department.

Why did Trump choose to replace Sessions?
