This was sent to me by SavageSquirtle91

On SAG's Production database site, if you type in WB Games, a whole slew of game productions pop up. None of them are official names, just working titles. Codenames like Zeppelin, Carbon, and Diana.

SAG's database orders the productions by finding ones that started both three years before, and three years after. So, in order to find the year it's just a simple process of elimination.

These codenames might not give up the exact name of the title, but it can give us a good idea.

"Zeppelin", a project codenamed on the site, was used for the production of Arkham Knight, and can be found on WB Montreal's concept art for the game.

As for what this means for the others, well, Scribblenauts pretty much speaks for itself. It is condenamed "Scribblenauts Fiesta" and went into production sometime this year.

The other two, "Project Saturn" and another that started this year "Phoenix" could point to the projects that both WB Montreal and Monolith started this year.

"Project Diana" is an interesting one though. Most notably because it started in 2017, and just so happens to be the name of an iconic DC Comics character, Wonder Woman. There's no telling who that can belong to, but I guess we'll find out soon.

UPDATE: I'll post this to the OP, but the only ones worth paying attention to is Project Saturn and Phoenix.

Diana is a game already out, told by someone in the thread who used to work for WB. Same with Scribblenauts, unfortunately :(

Please be a Wonder Woman game.

What's all this about?
  • Wonder Woman: Circle of Light
Release date is October 8th, 2019. This date celebrates Wonder Woman's first appearance.

Systems: PS4/Xbox1/PC

  • Game will be revealed at the Video Game Awards with an ingame cinematic trailer and will have an IGN exclusive gameplay reveal shortly after

  • The game takes place in modern times, at the peak of Wonder Woman's heroic duties.

  • Two maps: Themyscira and Gateway City. The game is completely open world, with portals that transport you between the different worlds. No loading screens. These are two "separate" maps in which you can travel to at any given time, and each has its own side missions and secrets.

  • The game is an Action RPG.

  • The story revolves around Wonder Woman attempting to stop Circe from being set free from Hades and breaking the Source Wall to rewrite history. The history of the Amazons and Circe have been slightly reworked in the narrative. Circe has a cult that is helping her achieve her goals, both in Gateway and Themyscria.

  • There is a multitude of villains/boss fights in this game, some of which aren't directly tied to Wonder Woman. Here's who he knows are villains based on trailer and gameplay reveal: Circe, Hercules, Doctor Poison, the Furies (guess), possibly Brother Blood (another guess) and Killer Frost (the boss fight teased in the gameplay reveal).

  • Gameplay: The gameplay is similar to the Arkham games but has been revamped to fit the genre and Wonder Woman. The closest approximation is the new Assassin's Creed combat formula, with Arkham's flow. They implemented a combo system. You have three different kinds of attacks: fast, medium (lasso combos), and hard. Stringing these different attacks together gives you a combo. In addition to this, you also have a jump button which if you hold, will allow Wonder Woman to fly.

  • They wanted the flying to give you a visceral and adrenaline reaction. Think Spider-Man's swinging in the PS4 game.

  • Another feature to combat is blocking.

  • Combat trees. There are three trees: Lasso, Sword and Shield, and Gauntlets. You have two combat stances: regular (gauntlets, fists), and sword/shield. You can change stances in the middle of combat.

  • You can unlock different weapon archetypes/stances later in the game, as bow and arrow is shown in the gameplay reveal.

  • You can unlock and find new gear for Wonder Woman. Shown in the trailer is default, classic, a more Greek looking outfit with long braid, and jacket variation.

  • Most environments are destructible.

I'm excited to see what they've got. Wonder Woman would be cool.

I want lots of lasso of truth gems for NPCs not a few stock ones.

Wouldn't making the codename for a Wonder Woman project 'Diana' be pointlessly obvious?
While this is definitely true, some are pretty clear cut like "Lego Marvel 2", "Lego Star Wars", "Injustice Game" and "Scribblenauts Fiesta". Some of these other codenames may be a bit more difficult to decipher since many codenames aren't necessarily related to the actual game (Anthem was codenamed "Dylan" for example).

Roping dudes as Wonder Woman and swinging them around to knock out other dudes does sound like fun...

That Wonder Woman game sounds great but ugh WB Montreal. Their two Batman outings sucked. Hopefully they've gotten better.

Nah that was false. The person said that they worked for Twitch and Osama Dorias told them stuff about that game and how it was debuting at the Game Awards and basically a bunch of stuff to make it seem real
So I thought, until now.
You guys are kinda missing the big scoop. New Scribblenauts.
It sounds like a mobile spinoff honestly, hopefully it's more than that.

...they made the best Arkham game in the entire series. And it's also their one Batman outing, not sure where you are getting the second :P

So I thought, until now.
The fact alone that WB Montreal's Game Director said they won't be at the Game Awards is enough to know that 4chan post was fake. Plus, they've been teasing Batman. Their other Game Director liked a tweet from IGN today that said they were making a new Batman game

Project Diana being a Wonder Woman game would be incredibly on the nose but intriguing for sure. WW flight in an open world could also be a stepping stone to Superman down the road, or Justice League. She definitely has a fun toolkit for combat.

Arkham Knight has the worst combat, worst side content, most barren world and it's a glitchy mess. Story can't save that it's inferior to the other games in every other way.

And I was referring to the Batgirl DLC as their other outing. And I just remembered their Freeze DLC sucked too. Nice story, but they ruined his boss battle.

People will now start telling you they made the best Batman game in the series, but they are wrong.

That they are.
