I wonder if Netherrealm is in this sale. Because if not, the Marvel rumblings will get even louder.
I am hoping for the best for all of the employees at various studios and other companies as the merger/integration occurs.
They can rename it to Discovery comics now 😂

This whole thing sounds insane, I need to read about this better because a lot of shit will get affected by this merger.
I imagine the WB named studios stay in one piece and the rest are put in another piece.
I believe this merger was specifically to help get rid of debt and bolster things like HBO Max.
Damn, that really sucks that WB is getting split up… I wonder who will go where, and I'm afraid for the studios' devs/tech teams/specialized positions that stay with AT&T because I can't see them sticking around much longer, and at the very least they'll sell them off to someone but eh

Тechnically Discovery and Warner are one company. WarnerMedia most likely is divesting some asset (like crunchyroll).
WarnerMedia is part of Discovery so nothing will change there.
Once the deal is done, shall we then get more concrete details.
Yeah, it certainly seems focused on creating a streaming giant, be that a beefed up HBO Max or if it's merged into some new combo of WarnerMedia and Discovery content. I'd have concerns for any of the assets the new company controls that don't contribute to that.

I am guessing that some third party has bought something of WB Games because otherwise this does not make sense.
AT&T have merged warner media with discovery and spun it off as their own company with shared owned by AT&T and discovery shareholders. But seems not all of WB Interactive will be making it out?
EDIT: possibly splitting them instead?
At this point? I mean thats been the case for the last 2 years. They're just losing money on this whole endeavor here
Sony will most probably be all over Netherrealm now they own Evo. Also Rocksteady because of their history.

Considering how well they're doing, I wouldn't be surprised if NRS is one of the studios that WB Games holds onto.
May be. EVO acquisition and the rumor about Marvel Fighting Game by Netherrealm....
They shouldn't.
The best case is most studios staying and the few that are getting sold being bought by a 3rd party.
