Going for a stag to Vegas on the weekend and no one has really planned anything. Landing Friday evening, have full Saturday, Sunday all day and flying back home in the evening. What's the best places to eat (restaurant or buffet)? What's good entertainment during the daytime (evening we'll be hitting up casinos)? And let me specify it as indoors daytime entertainment because holy christ that'll be hot.

Bellagio for the pork out breakfast that will make you feel sick for the rest of the week.

Casinos suck. Avoid.

Cirque's Beatles act is fantastic.

Go rent some guns like a good tourist and go bananas on some piece of cardboard.

Grab some "flyers" from the pesky dudes on the sidewalks so you can amuse your friends at home.

The Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam are nearby, so you should go see those.

I'll second that. If you have a car rental then you can see Hoover Dam for free as you can just drive across and park up at the other side.

All Shook Up's a really good Elvis act. It's on at 6pm though so don't know if that counts as daytime or not.

Maybe the observation wheel?

Visited Vegas in the middle of july and I'll never forget standing ontop of the stratosphere felt like having a hair-dryer blowing directly into your face. Just this 110 degree heat with a strong wind blowing right at you.

Hoover Dam is awesome and only ~45mins from the strip, short bus ride.

From what I remember, Grand Canyon is a bit more of a drive.

There's hiking and shit near the mountains outside of vegas but I'd honestly die in that heat.

If you want the best buffet, check out wicked spoon at the cosmopolitan hotel. Best one I've been to.

If you are going to do food, definitely do it off the strip unless you happen to like popeyes chicken. The one I went to in Excalibur was closest to normal pricing that I noticed. Theres a lot to do, but if you happen to be on the strip a lot, I do recommend the monorail because I walked too much the last time I went and my feet were feeling it days later.

I kind of don't see the point of gambling. Besides that, they are an incredible maze. Humongous, very hard to navigate (by design) and filled with people whose faces tell you everything you need to know about them.

As far as I'm concerned, they are not a happy place.

Naw man, you just gotta know which one's are fun to actually game in.
Off strip, I've had great experiences at The M resort and Red Rock casino.
On strip, the Cosmopolitan and Bellagio are my favorite spots

Overall, you owe it to yourself to pay the Cosmo a visit. It's just an amazing resort top to bottom.

Definitely head down town at some point. Freemont street is something to see, especially at night.

Gonna have the same issue later this summer when I visit Las Vegas/Palm Springs. Just hope it won't be too hot to play golf.

The Pinball Hall of Fame is pretty neat and you could check out the Sigma Derby game on the 2nd floor at The D casino. Both are inside, cheap compared to gambling, and pretty damn fun.

Good recommendation on the derby game, that thing is baller. We hit a 200-1 underdog a couple trips ago and got paid out $50 in quarters - such satisfying clinking!

Do the Bellagio fountain if you've never done it, it's awesome, free, and all day.

High Roller observation wheel is cool too, and I actually like the day view more than the night view.

Best buffet in Vegas, make sure to account for at least an hour wait. They have nice virtual kiosks where you put your name and mobile # in and they text you when ready so you're not sitting around in a lame line.

Lots of hot girls come here Sunday mornings to recover after partying all Saturday night. Can get crowded as summer starts with all the tourists in town.

One of my favorite clubs. Can be hard to get into Friday/Saturday night if you're just a bunch of guys without paying off the bouncer or getting bottle service.

If you wanna get into any of the MGM clubs or Wet Republic, send a text to Derrell at (702) 374-6774. He hooked us up with free entry to so many events when we were out there last month.

All the casinos on the strip have a high buy in for their table games, but if you head downtown, you can get some cheaper betting tables. Make your you ask for complimentary upgrades when you check in and tip the front desk if they pull something off for you. I was able to get them to waive the resort fees which saved our group $200 for the weekend.

Carnaval Court next to Harrah's is a fun spot too, drinks aren't too pricey and the shows/music they have are fun. Food wise you can't go bad with most places, though I would advise staying away from the Korean BBQ spot next to Fat Burger. I'm still fighting a claim with them and they are hostile as fuck about you tipping. One of our favorites spots off the strip is A18 all you can eat. They have it setup with anime themed backgrounds, all you can eat seafood that they steam in bags with your choice of spices and seasons.

Watch a show. We watched cirque du soleil mystere last time I was there and really loved it. Also watched the jabbawockeez show and while it was also very good, I'd pick the circuque show over it.

Was in Vegas for Memorial Day weekend, will be going back Labor Day weekend lol

A restaurant I totally recommend is Chicago-based Bavette's at Park MGM. Easily my favorite steakhouse in Vegas right now, their dry-aged rib-eye is amazing. Pro-tip: go to a liquor store on the strip like ABC Stores to find a nice bottle of wine and bring it over to the restaurant; they'll waive the corkage fee if you share a small glass with another guest. Worth it over the corkage fee or ordering a similar bottle from their wine list.

Also like going to Momofuku at the Cosmo, especially since there isn't one in SoCal (yet). David Chang's ramen, pork chop, and A5 wagyu over potatoes are great. Stop by Milk Bar next door for some cookies, soft serve (get the corn flakes topping!), and a crazy birthday cake.

Bacchanal buffet in Caesar's and Wicked Spoon in the Cosmo are my favorites. Bruxie outside the NYNY was a chicken and waffles place I really enjoyed. Delmonico Steakhouse in the Venetian/Palazzo is good.

Gambling is not for everyone but if you do partake, and decide to get the free drinks out of it, be sure to tip your waitress. Even a dollar is fine. Pai gow is good because you'll end up pushing a lot, so one buy in will last a while (which means more drinks). Fat Tuesday has good slushy alcoholic beverages if you want to get drunk while walking around. If you've got a bunch of dudes I would recommend doing bottle service if you can afford it (be prepared to spend a non-insignificant amount, though), Vegas nightclubs are a lot more enjoyable that way. You won't have to wait in the long GA line and you'll have a place to sit down and chill - the clubs are absolutely packed and difficult to move around in.

Go to Tacos El Gordo.

You'll thank me after you've had six adobada tacos.

Also, Carnival Court is a swingers hotspot, so if you go there, be prepared to be hit on by a shit ton of old ladies who want to fuck in front of their husbands.

Do they still have that NASCAR rollercoaster you get to ride for free all you want if you can eat the giant burrito? If so, do that.

Shit where was this last time I went!?
They were there. You either didn't co-mingle enough or they weren't interested in you. I've legit been hit on every single time I go. Never go anywhere with randoms, but swingers are always there. And will most definitely be there during the summer.

It gets worst OP. I won't ever go back to Vegas in the summer. I am talking about 50-60 Celcius.

Now that I think about it, there was this overly flirtatious couple at the entrance dancing and grinding on couples. None of us were in a sober enough mind to tell what was happening, but now it makes sense lol.

Go up to the casinos on Fremont Street for some authentic feeling Vegas.

Personally I can't tolerate slot machines, but blackjack can be fun if you aren't losing your shirt and craps is great if you have a fun table.

Get out several hundred dollars to gamble and consider it entertainment expenses, expecting to lose all of it. That way it you have some left, or somehow come home with more, it's like a bonus.

If you really want too indulge in that kind of stuff, just ask a taxi driver. They know where all of that weird shit is, lol.

Lmfao 40 isn't that bad. It's not got enough for me to take a cab in July.

If you happen to be men of culture check out Baumans rare books in the Venetian. Very interesting to see original print books that go for 10s of thousands lol.

For Casino play takeover a BJ table in Planet Hollywood at night. Great atmosphere for fun.

Gather all the crew to play in a poker tournament during the day. I recommend the Arias 11 AM $240.

Protips

Always put everything in the safe. If you or one of the guys brings a girl back she might be working.

Idk where you are staying but tell the cabdriver or Uber to take Swenson. If you go out on the highway, you've been longhauled. If it's with a cab you don't have to pay if they do this.

Avoid Fremont. Yeah it's history but it's basicaly the slums.

Idk if this will be easily obtainable for you guys but I play poker for 12 hours at a time, stock up on the free water bottles they hand out. It'll save you in the mornings from the high prices.

That's all I can think of for now.

Lmao! Is that recent? I was last there at night with a group of friends in 2014 and we did not encounter any swingers.
Nope, it's not a recent thing. Sure, I may not frequent that shit on a daily, but Carnival Court is a known swinger spot in town here. There's a bar in either Cosmo or Aria known for the same. Can't remember which casino. I know about Carnival Court because bartenders have told me in the past and every time I go I can spot the obvious, the Cosmo/Aria one I know because I have friends who work security on that side of the strip who have seen and heard some shit.

Caesar's buffet. Cosmopolitan's is good too but it's been years since I've been there.
Hash House a Go Go is great too, and Momofuku Milk Bar is always good. Love their soft serve ice cream.

Ah okay. I'll definitely take your word for it. I visit Vegas every summer for EVO but I've only been at Carnaval at night that one time. The other times I simply walked by during the day where it was mostly dead, of course. I can't begin to imagine all the shit I don't know about Vegas.

As for places to visit, I can vouch for Hobak Korean BBQ, Cesear's buffet, and Hash House A Go Go. I always visit Hash House once during my EVO trips.
