Hi, I'm Jamey. I registered with the name Dimentio, but I'm probably more well known as Fawfulthegreat64
I'm a Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi fangirl, i love Fawful and Dimentio and Vivian and Cackletta and Count Bleck and other characters in those circles. Rooting for Paper Mario to come back and be like the games that gave me many of these characters that mean so much to me! Also hoping Nintendo can scoop up the M&L team after their company AlphaDream sadly went under, so that series can continue with the same devs (also Fawful for Mario Kart)
I was led here by the rumor of Paper Mario on the Switch, which afaik originated here :)

I am a former (for now) journalist who would sometimes cover games, but mostly forums that I have enjoyed have been dying left and right, and I am am looking for a new, active gaming forum with chill people, and this seems like a cool place to migrate to. :3

I mostly play music, survival, horror, and anime based games (osu!, Danganronpa, Dead by Daylight, Outlast, .etc)
When not gaming I just do homework and practice playing my instrument (Flute).
When it comes to my opinions I always state them in an honest fashion, I never really change my opinions.
I plan on trying to graduate college with a degree in either Graphics Design or Forensics

Hello everyone my name is Riley and I am excited to join this message board. I'm male, 24, and live in California. Grew up playing a mod of Half-Life called "The Specialists" which ran off the hl1 engine and then transferred to Counter-Strike 1.6 where I became very good. Played CS:GO for awhile but now I am going to get into console gaming again as I have ordered a PS4 Pro Modern Warfare bundle should be sometime in the next week. Have seen a lot in life and been around bad and good influences but I'm still here and it took me many years to realize that having a foundation of healthy family around you is a good focus point to center your life around. Drugs and alcohol are not the way to go..been there done that. Gaming keeps me out of trouble and I enjoy shooting games so it is going to be nice to get back into gaming soon.

Been browsing resetera for a while but just recently made an account...Excited to be a part of the community!
I grew up playing PC games like Age of Empires (I and II), Roller Coaster Tycoon (1 and 2), and Civilization (started with 3). I was also attached to my Gameboy at the hip. I've only ever really played PC games and games on Nintendo consoles/handhelds.
These days I still play quite a bit on PC but spend most of my gaming time on my Switch since it's so convenient.
I like pretty much all types of games, but I mainly play strategy games and RPGs.

Hello everyone. I have been a long time lurker and have been following this site since it first launched.
I love gaming. I love the culture, the developers, the community, the tech aesthetics, the rumors, the brands... Everything!
I started gaming on the NES in the 90s (Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt). The game that really changed everything for me was Ocarina of Time. I couldn't believe that you could just run in a direction and go there. As a kid, it was mind-blowing.
I now game on a variety of platforms, including PS4, Switch, and PC.
Happy to finally be a part of the community :D

I never thought i'd see this day, been a lurker since years (on the old place too) and now I finally get to be a part of this amazing community. Huge thanks to the staff!
My first expierence with video games was Tomb Raider on the PS1, I never got past the first few levels but the whole thing was just so crazy to me. These days I enjoy story driven games the most, although I play pretty much every genre. I'll play anything as long as i'm having fun!

Hey, folks. Signed up forever ago, but just now getting around to exploring Resetra for the first time. Avid console, PC and VR gamer. Avid is a understatement. And for... decades. My first brand spankin' new console was an Atari 5200. And I'm still that guy now.

I'm looking forward to being involved in discussion related to various game schemes for both production and play.
Maybe i'll even find hints and clues towards that one perfect game i've been looking for, for half my life, or just get a few ideas down as to how to make it~

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Gaming has played a significant role in my life since I was a kid (36 as of last month... or 9, if we're going by actual "birthdays"... stupid 29th) and I'm excited to join a community as passionate about the hobby as I am. I enjoy discussing all aspect of the medium and look forward to contributing positively to the discourse that I've had the pleasure of reading for so long ( I lurked that other place too... but yeah, fuck that place... Viva La Era!).
I've owned the following platforms and was really happy when I could finally afford to own the consoles from big 3 during this generation (one item on the bucket list completed... man, I have a shitty bucket list):
I like games, whether they are good, mediocre or bad... so if you like games too, we cool and I look forward to seeing where this crazy industry takes us together. :)

Hi, Era! Got approved and will be able to participate in discussions now so that's awesome. Been browsing the site for a while and just recently decided that it would be nice to be able to talk to people about the different topics that get brought up. I hail from the PNW, have probably live half my life, maybe a bit more at this point and just do what I do each day to make it through. I deal with some anxiety issues, have a wonderful wife who puts up with me and 2 chihuahuas that are my main support group. It's currently Armageddon out there with this corona virus so I hope all are safe and taking the necessary precautions to get through these troubling times. Everybody be well out there!
