How old are you, OP? Could be it's just another turn of the decade for you. Younger people, though, might be pumped for it if it's their first or second.

First time hearing that a decade starts with 1 and not 0. It doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, I agree. Where's the hype? Hope a majority don't think 2020 is part of the 2010s. That makes no sense.

Plus, it's the first decade since the '90s with a good shorthand. Better than whatever we call the '00s and this decade. We'll finally be back on track.
