So The Beach Boys have Pet Sounds, right?

What's the Frank Sinatra equivalent that all the fans and critics consider his best album?

Funnily enough you mentioning Pet Sounds, only two albums have ever made me cry, that one and In the wee small hours; so my vote is for that.

Not sure but In the Wee Small Hours is probably my personal favorite.

Edit: Just to note, i've not listened to all his albums, it's kind of impossible especially with all the best of and re-issues of live recordings.

Pet Sounds really blew my mind. Every song made me feel something special. Caroline, No really resonated with me.

Listening now though, thanks for the recommendation.

Frank Sinatra's Greatest Hits.

Really didn't do albums in his day. 45's are singles.

This is true, but also, his 1980 Album 'Trilogy' Past Present Future....in particular the third part "Future", which includes a suite of original music, that is fucking insane!

Just listen to this incredible song!!!!

There is a segment of it where he is flying through space and includes the line "Uranus is heaven".

There are a series of albums that are good but I don't think there's a single album that I'd say is his single greatest album.
