For me, it's Clarity by Jimmy Eat World.

Came out right when I was 18. Nothing before it had sounded so beautiful.

What about you?

I was in 2nd grade. One Week was featured in the Digimon movie. The rest is history.

Definitely Hybrid Theory. First album I bought, and hell, I probably know it front to back to this day.

I was KoRn obsessed as a kid. Still love the first two albums to death. Such a heavy and weird band. Introduced me to metal and more experimental rock simultaneously.

As a kid/preteen definitely Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park.

As a teen Razorblade Romance by HIM or Comalies by Lacuna Coil. Launched me full into my wannabe goth phase.

The Offspring's Smash

Got into them with Americana, but once I heard Smash it almost never left my CD player.

Without a doubt. The first album I owned, and the first band I ever had an interest in.

I don't remember which Pimpinela one, but it was one of two cassettes we had in the house.
The other one being this fucker.

Was the first album on my first iPod. Runner-up is probably White Blood Cells by The White Stripes.

Radiohead's OK Computer and Tool's Lateralus. Two albums I was addicted to around '01 and changed how I saw (rock) music.

Automatic for the people
Age 14 when released, listened non stop on my discman. Night swimming is a beautiful song that tears me up when I hear it if I'm in the mood to be moved.

Pitched my tent
In the pouring rain
I got a back seat lover
That's callin' my name
She gonna blow my cover
She's hot as a flame
But I'm ready, so ready, ow
I shove my tongue
Right between your cheeks
I haven't made love now
For twenty-five weeks
I hear that you're so tight
Your lovin' squeaks
And I'm ready, so ready

- F.I.N.E.

Teenage me was all over this. And thus began my descent into hairband rock.
