Personally, Cruel Angel's Thesis (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Cha-la Head-cha-la (Dragon Ball Z) are, in my opinion of course, the best anime intros of all time. Catchy, fast, bright. Gets my attention every single time.



What do you believe are some of the best anime intros of all time?

I do love Saint Seiya's Pegasus Fantasy, Gundam Wing's Just Commuication, and Wedding Peach's theme song (whose name I don't know), but I'll ultimately have to say Sailor Moon's Moonlight Densetsu.

Any of Jojo's openings, but one of them is remarkable not only for having a great song and visuals, but also
for tying into the show's plot. Very neat.

Weird fanservicey shots notwithstanding. I just think the song is funny because it sounds like a Japanese SoaD cover band.

I really like Yuri's because of the hand-drawn animation style. It looks great and makes the intro really unique.

Kenshin's is a banger. The translated version is great, too.


Attack on Titan's first opening was perfection. Season 2's was good, too, but you can't beat the first one.

I love nearly all the naruto openings yet Haruka kanata might be the most iconic
