Has it really been 25 years?! I still remember getting that PS1 on the first Christmas it was available. It's been a wild ride.

Likely rerelease the PS Anniversary models, maybe a PS2 style PS4 but mostly, PS5 tease to next holidays.

(i would be happy already with a default emulator)

Honestly, there's some things I'd wish to see, but...

Realistically, I expect nothing, and somehow in some way, I get the feeling I'll even be disappointed there. A lot of this stems with their handling of previous generation titles on the PS4 from the get go and how the PS Classic turned out...

PSOne Classic (let's retry this) with DualShock controller, Japan Studio's inhouse emulator, a UI that doesn't make me puke and 20 curated games people actually want.

PS1/PS2 Classics added to PS4/PS5. Trophies be damned.

Nothing, if there was some sort of event for it it would be announced by now.

We might get a tweet.

Release of PS4 Mini Classic.

I look forward to buying one of those in the year 2040 for the reasonable sum of £200, inflation included.
