Four pages of failing to ask the real question: Where the fuck is Metal Wolf Chaos?
Given Omnipotent's comments about tears I expect a Microsoft exclusive, maybe announced at E3.
Who knows, maybe even a buyout?

The tears are inherent to the "BB2 dream" that will be for the umpteenth time shattered at the next E3.
Oh, thank God.
So you are basically confirming this is gonna be multiplatform?
Omni pretty much keeps saying bb2 ain't a thing at FROM and people refuse to listen. The tears are inherent to the "BB2 dream" that will be for the umpteenth time shattered at the next E3.

Insiders dont know jack shit its confirmed multiple timesSekiro DLC. Something else teased maybe, no idea.
It's From so I'll keep an eye on anything they do, but I'm not really interested in anything Mech-based, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I see. Even if the content was more straightforward this time, I feel like the language used was still quite evocative. I agree Frog does amazing work, but I think this was a valiant attempt, especially considering the very different subject matter.Eh Idk. Things were very straight forward with little room for speculation and interpretation. It could just be a side effect of them going for a more straightforward story, but compared to Bloodborne or Dark Souls 1, none of the item descriptions really stopped and made me think about the nature of the world.
I didn't say anything about insiders, I just assume there will be Sekiro DLC?

Bloodborne 2 would be cool, but Sekiro at 144fps with FOV extended feels like a different game & it was hard to play it on my friends PS4. Maybe Bloodborne 2 on PS5 & hopefully they target 60fps.
Sekiro was probably the reboot of an old franchise he mentioned, back in 2016 maybe it was still a Tenchu, and the change to a new IP happened after that interview.
From Software employees always call Sekiro an "Action Adventure" game, too, so it couldn't be the dark fantasy RPG.
No Sekiro is almost certainly the reboot project as it started as a Tenchu project. From has also made it clear this game was not developed with Dark Souls in mind. They wanted to distance this project away from those games. Sekiro is not an RPG either.
The sleazy corporate brand manager guy in me is saying. Stamp his name on everything!
I felt this way on my first playthrough as well, but the more I play it and discuss it, the more I discover and fall in love with the lore.Eh Idk. Oh shit, it's Dark Souls. There can be overwhelming happiness tears, excitement tears, tears of dissapointment, and salt tears.
And im sure there will be a decent helping of all to go around.
I can say I'm definitely in the former two categories myself and I think some reccently lapsed fans might find themselves in those categories too.
Cool. I'd really like a new mech game from them, but I'll play whatever they release. There can be overwhelming happiness tears, excitement tears, tears of dissapointment, and salt tears.

As a recent (77 hours so far in Sekiro being my first FromSoft game) FromSoft convert, as long as it's on PC, the news will probably be good. There can be overwhelming happiness tears, excitement tears, tears of dissapointment, and salt tears.

Please play Dark Souls Remastered next. You have a lot of greatness to catch up on.As a recent (77 hours so far in Sekiro being my first FromSoft game) FromSoft convert, as long as it's on PC, the news will probably be good.
Yeah, same, lmao. I'm so scared I won't be able to play it. If I own the platform, I don't give a shit what it is, day one.> tfw you still don't understand in which tears category you'll fall
Same goes for me, platform is the only concern.Yeah, same, lmao. I'm so scared I won't be able to play it. If I own the platform, I don't give a shit what it is, day one.
So it's Dark Souls 4 exclusive on Switch?happiness tears, excitement tears, tears of dissapointment, and salt tears
But who would be disappointed at that?I can totally see a new Souls game without the Dark part but something else.
Bloodborne and Sekiro sales showed us that even without the Dark Souls title the fanbase of FS will be there to buy whatever they do, so I can definitely see them going with "something Souls" and a different publisher.
I can see them announce something in a ps5 reveal event. Their relationship with Sony is pretty good with Deracine just released recently.
This years E3 thread is gunna be a GOOD one
But who would be disappointed at that?
Unless it's exclusive to one platform.
The Dark Souls III reception by the fanbase was already fairly tepid compared to Bloodborne, though. No matter how involved he actually was, clearly it wasn't enough. A lot of people even prefer DS2 to DS3.
Slapping his name on everything would just devalue his name being slapped on a product after a while, if the quality starts to fluctuate too much.
Well, shit, there you go.
