I feel like there's to much negativity in regards to Pokémon lately. People seem to get real heated and honestly I'd like a break from that.

So here I want to talk about something you like.

Namely what is your all time favorite Pokémon and what do you like about it?

If you can't narrow it down to just one post as many as you like.

For me it has to be Gardevoir.

Make all the jokes you like but I just absolutely love the elegance of the design.

Helps that I really like psychic types too.

It also was just a really good Pokémon to use in my experience.

So what is your favorite?

The only thing I ask is please keep the thread polite. No Gen warring and no insulting others over their picks.

I love Ice types and there is no better Ice Type than this beautiful son of a bitch! Just a fantastic play on snow and ice to make something that resembles ice cream. Its so happy to be there and the straw that makes flurries is fantastic. Its 2 other forms are also cute little guys!

Chandelure is the best.

Ghost types are usually pretty different, but Chandelure has such a clever design that makes it really stand out. The idea of a haunted chandelier just works, and it plays perfectly to its typing.

I love Sceptile. It's so cool and sleek and green is also my favorite color. It's just awesome in my opinion.

I also love Aegislash as you might guess from my avatar. Just a cool concept and design

I don't know why, but Ghastly gives me a sense or a melancholic feel. Can't explain, but I just like it.
Plus the simple design, and the cool evolutions.

Amazing concept, amazing type combo (at least until Fairy indirectly nerfed it into the ground), amazing movepool; everything about this shining beacon of perfection is on-point.

I hold no bias whatsoever and resent any insinuation to the contrary.

Mimikyu's true form is so horrifying people will die if they see it but Mimikyu just wants to be loved so it wears a cloth resembling Pikachu so that peope will love it.

It's such a great idea for a Pokemon. It's good in battle and it's backstory is so cute and sad.

Pokemon Silver was my first Pokemon game and Cyndaquil was the starter I chose. Absolutely loved the final evolution. Dunno why but I like its design.

I really, really hate most Pokemon based on objects, but the Litwick line just feels so well designed, and one of the very few that actually works.

In terms of "cool" Pokemon, my overall favorite has always been Lucario. I'm obviously not alone in that, but hey, can you blame us.

Somehow Umbreon manages to be badass and adorable at the same time. Definitely the coolest Eeveelution (in my opinion) and probably my favorite pokemon of all time.

It can also be competitively viable! Although its power and speed are lackluster, its great Defense / Sp. Def and access to moves like Foul Play and Wish make it a pretty good staller/cleric capable of shutting down setup sweepers even in higher tiers!

Bulbasaur is a very neutral design (not just cute/edgy/silly), green and a plant dinosaur that controls vines. Awesome.

The design is absolutely sublime. Goofball, based off a cupcake, fairy type (first for the gen), and just wrecked house.

Gengar is just so simple and bad ass. Has 2 of my favorite types also.

Edit:
Honestly it would be more that I'd have to flip a coin between Gengar and Umbreon

Another simple design but so elegant and shows a Pokémon that lets you see the potential of its personalities. I can see what a serious Umbreon would be like and what a playful one would be as well and neither image betrays that cool design.

I remember trading my lunch for this card in elementary school, not knowing what Pokemon was. Swellow was the first Pokemon I'd seen, and it's still my favorite. Also, thunder armor!

Shiny Amaura. I can't even put my finger on why... the design and colors are so pleasant to me, like all of my favorites, but for some reason this one stands out.

And I have yet to get myself one. I tried... a lot... in XY.

Gastrodon is weirdly cute without trying to be too cute, plus Water and Ground is amazing typing. Just avoid grass-type and you're golden.

My Masquerade Dancer Assassin of Poisons is amazing. Roserade is one of my personal fav.

Another is Milotic, first non-legendary I went out of my way to get to level 100. It's Shiny is also great. Just wish it wasn't a Trade Evolution, it makes it hard to run one in game.
