That's so boring. Therefore, it'll likely be that.I could see Team Tekken just being the Mishimas (Kazuya, Heihachi, Kazumi)
They're already using Unreal Engine 4 :p

Better visuals. More alts
Rock Howard
The one new kid bvb with the two fists
Crossover characters
The art promotions for KOF are depicted like Seinen art style. You know for all the "ThEy NeEd To Go BaCk To SpRiTeS!" people, I think this is a reasonable compromise. 3D that LOOKS like 2D sprites. Only Don't make it like cel-anime, Oda has said the pixels in classic KoF games were never meant to be anime but rather they were meant to be live action/realistic. Find someway to make it look like the old style somehow. But honestly, whatever they can do to balance visuals with roster count. I'd hate to see a "pretty" small rostered game.
Yeah, despite what Oda said (I mean how would you explain Leona), I think that's what they were really going for until the Playmore era where they really "Anime'd" up the sprites. I'd be cool with that. The art promotions for KOF are depicted like Seinen art style.
That would be something different
Better art direction and character models. I can play ugly games but not that ugly. Decent online too I guess but I don't expect miracles.
I don't know where this rumours come from? iirc it wasn't the bankruptcy that was threating game division. It was the pachinko loving CEO that treating and threatining the game division like a cartoon villain. He had a pachinko is the future presentation for the new buyers just days before closure of pachinko division. A great ending to a villanous plan. He was the one tanking the game division, not "expensive" 2D sprites. Not happening. Ever. 2d sprites nearly bankrupted the company.
I don't wanna wish for things with no chance of happening
I'd honestly take some really cool shader effects. I'm cool with how plain jane 14 is, even after all their rebuffing, but I look at it as a baseline that they could really make look good with the next installment, given the right tlc. Samsho, I think, shows they are moving in the right direction.

remember sajam
I played it lol, I just want him back again
I would love to be proven wrong but I just don't think that's enough for Japanese devs outside of Capcom to really care. Even being, Capcom is doing a proprietary rollback netcode but that is failing on all accounts. The dream is for them to work directly with the Cannon brothers like KI and MKX/11 but that's not happening this lifetime.

I see, you mean remember THAT.
No, I'm not talking about one of the founders of SNK. I'm talking about SNK Playmore president Koichi Toyama. He was the one pushing pachinko, saying he wanted to turn video game fans into the pachinko fans.I hope you are not referring to Eikuchi Kawasaki when you say CEO because you don't know what you are talking about if so.
There's also a return on investment issue with 2D vs 3D. If SNK's planning to sell this as a full price $60 title, sprites aren't gonna fly at that price point, particularly among casual consumers who think 2D is the realm of the bargain bin or older consoles. And those casual buyers vastly outnumber the forum dwellers who sing the praises of SNK's pixel art.No, I'm not talking about one of the founders of SNK. Irrelevant to corporate drama, 2D and 3D is both expensive and hard to produce. With 2D, fresh talent must be the bigger issue.
No. I think modern SNK has taken a bit of a dive and this is the kind of character inclusion I (unfortunately) expect them to make.Huh? Are you referring to types like Mui Mui or Momoko or is this just some bad attempt at an ignorant drive by?
