Inspired by that 9999 hours BotW thread, very self-explanatory.
Include expansions, re-releases, ports and upgrades like "Super", "Ultra" and similar.

I've probably spent the most hours playing the Street Fighter 4 series among the vanilla, Super, AE and Ultra editions. Wouldn't be surprised if I reached the 1k hours mark.

World of Warcraft, non-mmo is The Witcher 3 (343 hours, played through twice), followed by one of the Pokemon games.

Jedi Academy, specifically the Movie Battles II mod.

From the single player game and the mod, I've put around 1000 hours into it.

It's gotta be FFXIV or Team Fortress 2, otherwise Xenoblade X and 2, and most Pokemon titles.

Championship Manager 01/02. Fuck knows how many hours, but over the years... it's a LOT.

World of Warcraft and second place isn't even a drop in the bucket by comparison. I have more days played in WoW than hours in almost any other game. Granted a lot of that was sitting around talking to people on voice chat, alt tabbed waiting as substitute for raids, so on.

Non-MMO, maybe Monster Hunter Freedom Unite? That was around 500-600 hours. I've also fully played through Baldur's Gate 2 like 6 times and that game's long as hell.

PokƩmon, as a series, is something I've definitely clocked 1500+ hours in

Individually its probably PokƩmon Y with like 4 - 500 hours

World of Warcraft when I played that too. Shame I can't check and see what my total playtime was now, but I bet it was more than PokƩmon.

We kinda sorta just had this thread.

Anyway, I have 1300+ hrs in Street Fighter V. It was also the first game where I got every Achievement.

Played WoW for 2 years and just WoW so that was probably over 1000 hours. But I also have like 400 hours on DMC 4 between versions.

Gotta be WoW. I played consistently for about 7 years straight and then on and off for the next 4 or 5.

World of Warcraft easily. Over ten thousand hours over the lifespan of the game easily. I'm on possibly my second longest hiatus right now, but I'm sure I'll pop back in eventually.

My top three are almost definitely

1. Civilization
2. Subspace
3. Team Fortress 2

If I break Civ up into individual games, my top 3 likely becomes:

1. Civilization 1
2. Civilization 3
3. Civilization 5

WoW is somewhere in the 12k range, so that.

over 1,000 hours into PSO2, over 1,000 hours into Melee, over 3,000 hours into Brawl, probably 2,000 hours into Diablo 2 across many many years

I've been playing Puyo Puyo several hours a week for over a decade, so probably over 4,000 hours

More than 1000 hours on SFV on PC. Another 800 hours on the PS4 version.

But i am not sure if that beats the time i had spent on WoW Vanilla, BC, WoLK, tho.

I hit 7k in Dota 2 recently. Next up is probably some combination of Melee/Brawl/PM, but there's no numbers on that.

I've beaten Final Fantasy VII over twenty times at over 100 hours each. So I guess I spent at least 2,000 hours in that game.

Honestly, probably still WoW by a fairly wide margin.

Thousands of hours, for sure.

I don't know how people can put thousands into one game. I love video games, but no game has inspired me to spend 1000s of hours on it. Here's my top three:

Everquest 2 - 310 hours
Monster Hunter World - 220 hours
Witcher 3 - 200 hours

My top three:

Uncharted 4 SP & MP
Breath of the Wild
The Witcher 3

I'm not sure which one I've spent the most hours playing.

Zoo Tycoon 2 (with expansion packs and mods): my most played game, I played it in my youth, but haven't touched it for ten years. Maybe a thousand hours.

I think I have played Gran Turismo 4 for more than 100 hours.

Mario Kart DS / Mario Kart Wii: also games that I have played together a lot. I played both games together for probably 500 hours.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn: My favorite Fire Emblem games. The playing time for Path of Radiance I do not know, but it is certainly above 130 hours. I played Radiant Dawn on my Wii for about 285 hours (I also left the game on a lot at night, so it will be less).

My most played game of the past couple of years is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, about 120 hours.

I may have forgotten some games.

WoW Easily. When I dropped the game around the beginning of Cataclysm I know I had over 200 days played (something like 225). I'm sure a ton of it was AFK, but still almost 5000 hours there.

Steam says 1393 hours in Age of Empires II HD. It's not exactly accurate, because I originally played it religiously for a bunch of months in Offline mode, and those hours weren't logged.

Basically, it's my "comfort food" game. Whenever I need to unwind, I boot up a campaign (either the originals, or something from the Workshop or AoKHeaven) and I can spend hours building pretty towns, explorin every square mm of the map and eventually building an army and steamrolling a bunch of AIs in some historical setting.

Some online games must have taken the most hours over the years, since they never end,so I'll go with single player games.

I guess it has to be Dark Souls 3
