What happened to thatgamecompany's "Sky"?

I haven't heard much news from the game this year. I remember it was supposed to come out first on Apple TV. I was looking forward to it but it just sort of fell off my radar and I haven't really looked anything up until today. Probably sparked by this article I read the other day: Microsoft ends Minecraft support on Apple TV due to low demand

It's still on their website and still mentions about coming first to Apple devices.

Should they just scrap the Apple exclusivity? The description of the art video mentions that game is in "limited live and beta release", did anybody in here take part in the beta? The IGN footage looks like low quality off-screen footage
