I mostly use the KZ-ZS6

Was thinking of using an adapter so I can use with my Sony XM3s but my ZS6 sounds better so I didn't follow through with that.
BLON B03's. Got some new tips and they sound divine. Especially considering the whole shebang cost me $40. I haven't tried using the mic on it with the switch, not sure if it would work.

They're also my "out and about" and work headphones/IEMs.
Docked: PlayStation Golds

Handheld: KZ ZS10 Pros

However, I get a hum when plugged in. Very annoying.

The Chi-Fi vibe is strong in this thread, I'm very pleased.

My wife uses a pair of KZ ZSN Pro ans she's very happy with them. I normally use Faaeal Iris earbuds when in a quiet environment and Blon BL03 when I want isolation (with KZ starline large eartips, because the standard Blon eartips suck big).

I absolutely adore my Bose QuietComfort 20's but it hasn't been easy getting a clean signal with noise cancelling. With that active, in most circumstances it's not exaggerated to say the only thing you hear is pure game audio, but the problem is you'll also hear any interference on the line.
It's not a problem exclusive to the Switch, and this may only be an issue with the cheap and rushed Erista SoC, but the shielding so poor on that 3.5mm that you'll often start hearing a 'rattling' depending what's on screen while docked. You'll find a lot of posts on the net that land on 'ground looping' but I think its EMI from an active exhaust fan assembly, and the only fix has been to drown out the low end with an isolator or networking other active 3.5mm devices and then cranking the Switch volume.

1More Quad Driver In-Ear headphones.
I only bought them because I was very bored at work one day while surfing amazon for stupidly over-priced audio stuff.
They are actually really nice. Great Bass and very crisp sound. I just had to swap around the rubber ear-tip bits for ones which made a better seal (the box includes several sizes). Not sure if they justify the £130 I paid, but ehhh, I wasn't spending it on anything else at the time.

HyperX Cloud IIs on all my consoles. They are comfortable for hours and have a good boom for buck.

I have this exact same set and second the recommendation. Use for all 3 consoles and my PC.

When docked my Switch is connected to a Schiit Modi/Magni 3 DAC/AMP driving a set of Sennheiser HD-6XX headphones.

In handheld mode I have a much simpler setup, using a cheap lightweight set of Koss KPH30i's. Great sound for about $20-30.

Using my AirPods + Adapter. Don't mind the slight delay while playing everything except rhythm games.

These are amazing! But extremely open.
I assume you play in a quiet environment?

Yes, I usually play in a fairly quiet environment. But I don't like shutting out all other sound, I prefer to be able to hear what goes on around me in some capacity. Family man and all :)

I also have some newer Urbanite XL headphones, they're not noise canceling but they do keep out ambient sounds to a larger degree.

When docked it's hooked up to my end-game audiophile setup.

But nowadays I pretty much only play in handheld mode so I have to use the only other pair of headphone I own, Superlux HD668B.

My Sennheiser Momentum Wireless (with a wire) or the AKG earbuds I got with my phone. Same as I use for everything tbh.

Depends on what I feel like using but my options are -
Phillips Shp9500
Sennheiser HD 660s
Focal Clears
Hifiman Arya
Sennheiser HD 800 S

Then these are used with a Schiit Stack of the Magni 3 and Modi 3 that I use for my consoles

Edit: forgot to add the amp/dac combo I use on consoles

Logitech G533s when at home. Nice wireless headset that works on Switch, PS4, and PC. So I just rotate it around when I wanna use headphones.

When on the go, I have an old Bose QC15 that I like to use wired. Noise cancelling is nice.

My Sony WH-CH700N headphones are fantastic, make everything on Switch sound incredible. The NC is great.

Bought a cheap Bluetooth receiver from Amazon (Glukit Route Air) and I use either my Bose QC35's or my AirPods.

I have the same DAC, amp and headphones. I think it's like the audiophile beginner kit haha. Does the Switch connect via USB? My PS4 isn't recognised so use optical.

In handheld mode, I will be the third or fourth person to rep the Koss KPH30i's. The Switch drives them just fine and games sound great. Just keep in mind they are open so sound leakage will occur. With that said, I'm often surprised by how great this combo sounds since my docked solution and part-time portable go to pairing is through a wired Audeze Mobius.

In handheld mode a USB-C to USB-C solution works fine, but just know that the headphones for some odd reason will draw power from the Switch and charge them while playing which isn't ideal.

Where they truly shine is in docked mode via USB-A to USB-C (headphones in USB mode) and am impressed by the audio pumping out of the Audeze Mobius in both Stereo and 3D Mode. I've listened to the Darius Gaiden soundtrack a few times throughout the years, and playing that game with those headphones on made me feel like I was listening to those songs for the very first time again, if that makes sense. They're a bit up there at $399.99, but I use them daily via Bluetooth through my phone, and the wired USB connection also works with the PS4, so I definitely have received a reasonable return on that investment these past few years.

I use the Sony WH-CH510 wireless headphones. I connect them to my TV, and I can use them with everything.

No discernible audio lag from my experience.
The Mpow bluetooth receiver plugs into the 3.5m jack so it doesn't function like a USB adapter.

It's like plugging in your ANC headphones and then turning on the NC function but wirelessly.

that's good, i also need it for the car so two birds with one stone. thanks

I use the Pioneer Rayz Pro:
  • Adaptive noise canceling
  • Comes with a USB-C connector and Lighting connector
  • Customizable EQ and other nifty features through its iOS/Android/Mac app
  • The digital connection ensures audio quality
  • Draws power from the port, therefore no battery to charge
  • Includes a mic so you can use it as a headset too
  • Two color options

I connect both my PS4 and Switch to an HDMI switch that has an optical out extractor via toslink which I connect to the Modi 3.

The Switch can't connect to the Modi 3 directly via USB cuz of the USB Audio Class (UAC) incompatibility (Switch uses UAC1 while the Modi 3 uses UAC2...I think older Modi models use UAC1).

I was going to reccomend these, quite happy to see someone else did. Get them on Aliexpress along with a better cable and a set of Spinfit tips and you're all set.
