What is a subject matter you could deliver a 2 hour+ lecture on?

I saw this on ask reddit some days ago and it got me thinking. I'm sure we've all had subjects or media franchises we've deep dived on to the point where we could spend actual hours talking about it.

After some thought I'd personally have to say the Gundam Franchise is probably something I'm possibly TOO knowledgeable about. On top of watching hundreds of hours of shows, movies and OVAs I probably know the names and designs of a bunch of imaginary mecha that would make no sense to an average person ("What's a Geara Doga?"). I'm sure deep Star Wars fans know the same feel.

So I'll extend this to ERA. What's a subject you're confident you could give and entire 2 hour + lecture on?

It can be actual Math, Science, history, a media franchise, etc

With prep time or off the dome?

Either way, it's probably:
  • Magic: the Gathering
  • Radiohead
  • Los Angeles concert venues (21st century)
  • Podcasts
  • Interscholastic competitive debate (late 20th century)
  • Subtitles for film and television

Poland’s involvement in World War II and the impact it had on the country... which I know is oddly specific, but it was something that I quite literally gave an hour-and-a-half long lecture on as part of an education course at once point. I’m pretty confident I could have brought in a few more maps and examples to drag it out another thirty minutes if I’d had to.

Biogeography of the Hawaii, Ocean Acidification and Marine Conservation.

Pretty much did a lecture for all these for a college seminar project.

I can also probably talk about action mech games for 2+ hours as well.
