Since the Fox X-Men series has essentially come to a close (New Mutants, blink if you're still alive), what's the best film in your mind?

First, we have the main series; X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Wolverine Origins, X-Men First Class, X-
Men Days of Future Pants, X-Men Apocalypse, and X-Men Dark Phoenix.

Then we have the spin off movies; The Wolverine, Deadpool, Logan, and Deadpool 2.

X2, followed by Logan. And then...well sue me but Apocalypse. Then both Deadpools.

There is no Dark Phoenix. What are you all talking about?

Gotta go with days of Future past

With X2 just a tiny bit behind

Logan was alright, it just didn't do anything for me especially cause I played the last of us like just before it

X2 and DoFP are tied for the best x-men film.
Deadpool ist the best action comedy film.
Logan is the best film film.

Origins gets a bonus point for best game adaption tho.

I enjoyed:
-X1
-X2
-First Class
-The Wolverine
-Days of Future Past
-Logan

Out of this I would say Days or Logan followed by First Class

Logan was too good of a film to come from utter trash predecessors and successors. I'm fully accepting that there will never be an X men/Wolverine film as good as that again.

Logan's the best.

The Wolverine is the most underrated. Legit good movie that seems like nobody ever talks about (even if the 3rd act is pretty rough)

Logan > Days of Future Past > Deadpool > Everything else, really.

First Class, Wolverine, X2, and Deadpool 2 are fine to watch, but the rest I pretty much actively avoid. I have yet to see Dark Phoenix, and I am 99% sure that will join the "actively avoid" group.

Logan is the only one I really enjoyed. The rest are all in the vague realm of decent superhero movies... some better (First Class), some worse (X3), but they're all in the same ballpark.

Days of Future Past is only great for like 15 minutes, guys

Indeed. The rest is more Mystique / Magneto stuff.

Putting Deadpool and DP2 in kind of tips the scales, without those, it's X2.

A lot of younger people liked the cartoon, still waiting for an X movie with that cast. Throw em all in and fight!

Logan and DOFP are two of the best films in the genre.

X2 was holding that title but it's starting to show its age in the face of the two mentioned above.

I think it's a testament to the movie that I completely blanked on Logan when thinking about how to answer this question because it stands apart so much. I dont even love it as much as others here (I think it falls apart a bit in the last 30 or so minutes) but it's so much more affecting than the other movies.

I think Id say DoFP was the one I enjoyed most apart from Logan when I saw it.

Logan. It's also the best comic book movie of the 21st Century.

If you're curious: Batman Returns is the best comic book movie of the 20ths century.
