There is a lot we don't know, but as things stand with specs revealed and assuming fall 2020 for both, do you think there will be a price difference between the 2 consoles at launch? If so how much? This is not a question of value or cost to produce but a question of what you think the companies will set the MSRP at.

If the cheaper Xbox is real, it'll probably be 399 for that, 499 for ps5, 599 for series X

I wanted to see a simplified list of choices that is easy to read, unlike other polls I have seen. Too many detailed choices and you end up with not very insightful results. I think if the difference is under $50 people will consider that basically the same. Like if the prices are $529 and $499 I don't think people will see that as being notably different. $50 seems to be the threshold where people feel there is a notable difference.

Either the same or $50 more for the Xbox. Microsoft isn't playing any games as soon as they know PlayStation 5 price they'll give the public the price of the Xbox and it will be with $50 difference. Shit, they might even give you a couple months of gamepass free with it.

That poll is badly made and offers poor insights. You cant get a result at a glance, its too detailed (what if you think the price will be $699+?) and there are too many options. This poll is more elegant, it has more obvious results and allows for the consoles to be at any price rather than the specific choices listed there. The results speak for themselves.

I think Microsoft is prepared to take a loss if they can keep the difference under $100.
