Man, what a career. Hard to choose a favorite.

I guess I'd go with Big, as young and fun Tom Hanks was just so much, well, fun.

Derry
No Sleepless in Seattle? That's one of my favourites, if not my favourite.

So many of those movies are really good, though. The Toy Story trilogy, Big, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, Catch Me if you Can, Road to Perdition...

I recently watched Turner and Hootch for the first time and enjoyed that a lot, too.

Toughie. Overall maybe Road to Perdition.

Good gangster movie with Hanks trying something different, great cinematography, and a soundtrack I still listen to.

Hard to choose.

Cant go wrong with Saving Private Ryan.

Green Mile is the only movie to make me cry though.

Space, Man
Easily saving private ryan. My dad who rarely took us to movies as a kid, took me my bro and sis to see it and he she's a tear at the end. Pretty epic, since he's a rock that never cries.

Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile and Castaway are a 4 way tie for me. I cannot pick. I will say The Burbs makes me feel the most warm and fuzzy.

That Thing You Do! is one of my favorite movies of all time. I literally took half of my username from a throwaway joke in it.

Catch Me If You Can is probably my favorite movie, one of my favorite movies ever. Everyone should read that book. Toy Story is probably my favorite performance of his. However, solely because of Tom Hanks I would say Larry Crowne is probably my favorite.

Saving Private Ryan - for facilitating the existence of Band of Brothers.

Edit: Road to Perdition is underrated.

Turner and Hooch and Big I adored as a child

As an adult...I realise they aren't technically the best but probably Dragnet and Joe Vs The Volcano

I appreciate him generally in most of his roles.

Lieutenant Dan, Ice Cream!

Has to be Forest Gump. After that I would rank

Big
Catch me if you can
Saving Private Ryan
Cast away

I didn't realize we had so many Turner and Hooch fans lol. I think it's one of Hanks worst movies, but regardless of my opinion it's not a notable work.

Road to Perdition or Saving Private Ryan for me, although Big and The Money Pit are guilty pleasures as well.

Castaway, Catch me if you can, Toy Story (all of them), the movie where he is stuck in the airport and Big.

I can't believe how badly Forrest Gump has aged. I loved that movie so much when it came out and now it seems so cheesy. I might concede that is from my own tastes changing, but I don't really like it anymore.
