Xbox One X. Its the most powerful console I have at the moment because i wont buy next gen consoles this year
Probably my most hyped game in a long time.
I've got Yakuza already paid for on Steam and this. While I'm excited for both, this game dwarfs anything else. It's not everyday that I'm legit excited and with the PS5 and now this, it's going to be a damn good end to the year.

Between their gross underpaying of their 100-hour-week employees and the many transphobic elements that we know of in CP2077, CDPR can go do one. Maybe I'll watch it on YouTube or Twitch later on, if those count towards the thread question.

I'll be skipping Cyberpunk because of CDPR's really disgraceful practices and their consistent harmful and transphobic advertising/game content.

Anyway, a no here. Not big on 1st person RPGs, disliked the Witcher games, the companies behaviour ranges from bizarre to appalling recently and I'm expecting the end result to be a deeply embarrasing mess.

Aren't they planning a next-gen patch for 2021? Will the game be "enhanced" in some way for next gen consoles before that?
I’m doing an international Masters program and don’t have my PS4 or PC, so I’m doing Stadia on my iPad with Stadium. Been playing Red Dead on it the past week and it works shockingly well!
I am actually thinking about getting it on Stadia.
I won’t have a next-generation console because they are impossible to buy.
My PC only has a 1070.
The PS4/X1 versions sound like they are going to be pure trash.
Seems like a great time to give Stadia a spin. I’ll get good visuals and performance without having to upgrade and hardware. Cyberpunk itself doesn’t look like it will be too dependent on latency.

if i just *had* to play it day 1 it would definitely be stadia. doesn't look like i'll be able to nab a new gpu til spring

None tbh, the constant reports of crunch and transphobia are too much for me so I am choosing to give this one a skip.
Why to try shame or otherwise take a shot at the OP in particular?
It's nothing new on ERA that people are aware of spread of issues latest big AAA game has had in its development (crunch, shit pay depending role in the team, studio culture etc.) while also being hyped for said AAA game with intent of playing it.
Wonder if Supes got himself a 30 series despite just doing a 20 Series build earlier in the year.
PC though I only have a 2060 and I missed out on one of the new cards so I guess I will have to play at medium settings, I only game at 1080p so hopefully I will be okay till I can get my hands on a 3070 or 3060 within the next 6 months.

I'm not going to play it at all because the transphobic ads this game is littered with give me anxiety, and so does CDPR's passive-aggressive response to criticism which you're quietly supporting by acting as if it's a launch like any other. Fuck this game and fuck these hype threads.

i'll go with series x but i'll wait for the next gen patch sometime next year, i'm not rushing and not interested in playing it twice
PC. I even bought an RTX 3090 specifically for it (yup, not a very smart move, I agree), and waiting for Ryzen 5800X/5900X to appear to upgrade the CPU/DRAM/motherboard as well. Last time I upgraded my PC in 2015 (for Witcher 3), so I'm still running an i7-5930K (while waiting for Zen3), and up until this month I was running a 980Ti (now replaced with the 3090).
Oh man. Im like the only one getting it for the PS4 Pro. Hopefully it doesn't run like hot garbage. I just dont have plans on getting a PS5 yet.
I voted PS5 and was planning on getting it used but given the recent events I’ve sort of been swayed to not support it at launch and possibly not play it at all. Not to mention as a game it’ll likely need to be heavily patched.
I’ll see though. If they use MAU as a serious KPI toward their growth, buying it used is still feeding their bigoted growth.
