What real life regions would you like to see represented more in video games? (pics plz)

We've visited New York and New York analogues more times than I care to count and there's plenty of games set in vaguely European or Japanese locations. Let's post pictures of some other real places that could make interesting game settings.

Rotterdam. Because someone is going to say Amsterdam and there's no better rivalry than bitter rivalry.

On a more serious note (both cities are hot garbage), I'd like a volcanic/geyser region in any open-world game.

Let me dump someone in there Just Cause-style and I'm a happy man.

Lots of pretty crazy post Soviet stuff in there - bunkers, nuclear test sites, abandoned plants, etc.

Another option would be Altai region:

But it's more of a tourist place with way less crazy stuff although it's probably even more beautiful.

Even canadian developers are ashamed to have their games take place in Canada.
Stop catering to americans just let the games take place in Canada

I read about how the developers of the big dark had to say no to some publishers because they wanted them to make it take place in Alaska instead of Canada as if there is something toxic about having your game take place in Canada.
Just sad. Shows what they know as that game is doing well.
