MAN
remember the world wars
millions of killing and deaths and dropping bombs on each other
Man is the reason of its own extinction - What a Irony :(

Shag Pile Rug Knee-Lego.

Hunts its prey using stealth and stillness.

Can destroy creatures 20000 times its own mass.

Symbiotic partnership with juvenile homo sapiens.

Largely but not exclusive hunts males. Sometimes old or infirm Legos will lie dormant in deep pile rugs for upwards of six months, hoping to catch a previous victim who has forgotten the danger.

Humans or viruses for sure. Nothing else would come close to killing stuff on the planet

I think there could be more than 1 deadly creature. After man it's sharks, if you look at their origin, jaw strength etc., best case scenario, you survive an attack with half your body intact. Lions dominate the ground, leaders in the wild, always confident, basically a large cat. Humans dream, unravel ideas, and worst case scenario they blow up the planet through their inventions.

As a collective, its man.

We are killing not only other animals, but that planet itself.

Mosquitoes are second though.

Is there anything on this list besides man that won't be extinct in the next 100-200 years?

Man has a severely unfair advantage in this poll, so I vote hippo.

Spiders? Creepy.

Lions? Majestic.

Killer Whales? Big.

Hippos? Big fat doofuses. You let your guard down. Then that motherfucker will kill you with zero effort.

Look at these raging hippos.

The planet and life on it have survived far worse cataclysms than human-induced climate change. We are killing many species on it, including ourselves but not the planet. Thinking we can destroy the planet is another of mankind's delusions of grandeur. The planet will be fine, life will be fine in the long run, we just won't be. ;-)
Tell that to all the species we've driven to extinction and the thousands more to follow.

It's humans, but really it's colonialism and capitalism. Those are the primary reasons humans top the list.

The mosquito doesn't actually do the killing, the disease it transmits does the killing. Mosquito's a basic bitch middleman.

It's man, for the sole reason that Bears haven't developed rotary grenade launchers and miniguns...YET!

It's not even close. We're straight killers. You can ask all the Mega Fauna we wiped out. Oh wait . . .

And far more were killed before man even existed.

It's actually arrogant of man to think we have such a big impact that actually matter in the real scheme of things.
Yes, but where all those things that went extinct before humans arrive killed off by the same creature. We all know a bunch of shit existed and died before us, but humans are solely responsible for wiping out a bunch of shit

I mean, "deadliest" is a pretty general qualifier.

Are we talking about potential killing power proportional to size? Then it's the sea wasp. Are we talking physical strength? Probably hippos. Are we talking about raw numbers of casualties? Humans.
Elephants toss hippos around like rag dolls.
