Which MCU movies do you never want to watch again?

Confession: I don’t think I’ve seen an MCU film twice until I recently rewatched Spider-Man Homecoming. I have a love-hate relationship with these films. I think a lot of them look like ugly comedy films. Most recently I feel like Ant Man and the Wasp clings to that boring as heck look. But whatever, some of them look decent these days so I keep watching out of FOMO.

I know they are beloved and considered exceptional franchise films to many, allowed to have rapid output of multiple films a year without much critique from fans.

My coworker said before each Avengers movie he rewatched every single lead up film over again. Movie theaters do this as well, having played the over 20 films since 2008 in a string to lead up to Endgame, though oddly Spider-Man Far From Home is actually the end of Phase 3. I’m not sure what the strategy was there as Phase 4 approaches in May anyway, and Endgame definitely seemed like it was a more natural conclusion. But hey, why not tie whatever you can to the biggest movie ever?

I thought to myself, what Marvel films would I watch again? The answer is none, I’m good now.

What about you? Are they all rewatchable to you? Do you skip Thor 2 or Iron Man 2? Do you dodge the weird Hulk recast trouble?

Now that I’m writing this, I realize I have skipped those few I just mentioned all together. Don’t like what I’ve seen of them, don’t like the casts or characters, don’t have the time.

The first two Thor movies and the Iron Man sequels are the bottom of the MCU for me

I can only assume people that don't mention the Hulk movie have simply forgotten it's a MCU movie. There's no way it's better than IM2.

Pretty much any of them I watch are one-and-dones for me.

I did make an exception for Thor Ragnarok. I watched that one a second time for Waititi’s commentary track.

The first two Thor movies suck. I could go without ever watching them again, and will only rewatch Ragnarok in their place forever more!

I’ve seen a lot of phase one multiple times since they’ve been on tv. I don’t think I’ve seen any others more than once.

I've never seen Hulk and have no plans to ever do so. Otherwise, I don't want to see Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 3, Ant-Man, or Ant-Man and the Wasp a second time.

Most of them are hard for me to rewatch. I really enjoy them the first time but like them much less on a rewatch.

The ones I really avoid (meaning I'd rather watch Hallmart with my wife) are Iron Man 2 and 3, all Thor movies, all Ant Man movies, Cap 1, Civil War, and Cap Marvel.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Didn't like it the first time, and I'm definitely not going to like it the second.

Most of them are one-and-dones for me

Thor Ragnarok, GOTG 1, and Infinity War are very rewatchable though

Terrible.

The both of you.

It's still one of my favs.

I could do without ever watching Captain Marvel again. I liked it but it's the least interesting out of the entire franchise.

I avoid Hulk simply because of the actor change.
the CG of armor attach, armor detach, armor attach, armor detach, armor attach go super anoying quick and became film breaking through tense moments in the movie.

armor attach, armor detach, armor attach, armor detach, armor attach

keep Shane Black far away from anymore MCU movies

I've only seen pretty much all of them once, but I'd happily watch pretty much all of them again - except for Iron Man 3.

It’s the only one I’ve never seen
There's almost no reason to do so. I bought it on vudu for 5 bucks, I had watched it in the ramp up to Endgame, but I have no desire to ever watch it again. I bought it simply to have it, in case I go insane, and want to watch them all again for avengers 9.

I don't really rewatch movies, but if I had to pick one - probably Age of Ultron? I was bored out of my mind.

Iron man 2, thor 2 definitely. Antman and wasp could be on the list. Even GOG 2 I was blah on.

Iron man, captain America movies, spidermans are all great

Because I've seen them too much:

The Avengers
First Avenger

Because they suck:

Iron Man 2
Thor 1/2
Ant-Man 1/2
Incredible Hulk
Captain Marvel
Age of Ultron

Hulk and Thor 2. Iron Man 3 is only barely saved because it's Shane Black, but I don't have a desire to rewatch since I saw it in theaters.

They're pretty much all one-and-done movies for me but they all make for acceptable background noise while I do other things. I do have a strong dislike for all things Chris Pratt so I'd probably avoid the Guardians of the Galaxy movies if I can.

The only MCU movies I haven't watched in full are Incredible Hulk and Thor 2. Probably never gonna finish watching those.

Most are one and dones, but I've watched Civil War and Infinity War 3 times and Endgame 2 times.

Incredible Hulk and Thor The Dark World. Iron Man 2 stinks, but at least RDJ and Sam Rockwell are fun to watch and make it entertaining. There's nothing entertaining those other two I mentioned.

I feel like the saga is pretty much done, like, I’m not really looking forward to anything besides the falcon show, and Spider-Man 3 if and only if it’s set in New York.

The Incredible Hulk (due to the actor change)

Ironman 3 is the only MCU film that I've only watched once and have no desire to ever see again.

I enjoy them ALL, but Incredible Hulk is the most inconsequential of the Phase 1 movies, while I fell asleep during Thor 2 on a rewatch lately.

Probably easier to list the ones I would watch again. Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-man Homecoming. I don't think I'd go out of my way to watch any of the others.
