Yeah, the buttons are their own setting in the options menu. You can have 360, PS3, and PS4, if I recall.

And if you really wanted to, you can play FFXIV with a keyboard and mouse on PS4, just as you would on PC.

Yes, FFXIV has native Dualshock 4 support even on PC.

The game has great controller support. I actually prefer it from what I've played so far.

The only problem with streaming from a Shield TV is that the game doesn't officially support saving the password upon login. Once in game, everything just works. It's great.
