Shocked and disgusted by all the upside-downers. How do y'all take a peak at your phone's notifications without pulling the whole phone out, if the top of the phone is now at the lowest point in your pocket (and also, upside-down)?

I can honestly say I've never thought about this since going to wireless. Prior to that, it was dependent on whether or not I was using the headphone jack.

Left front pocket, facing in, upside down cause the jack is on the bottom.

I still have no idea how people use their back pockets for their phones. Seems like the most uncomfortable/inconvenient thing in the world.

I only make sure the screen is in, paranoid about leaning against a corner or something

Two phones right side up in left and right projects facing out

Never really considered having them facing in

I don't keep my phone in my pocket. I just commit fashion crimes and keep it in a holster.

Front pockets: wallet, keys, change. Rear pockets: nothing.

depends on if I'm using the headphone jack or not. If I am, upside down. Screen always facing me.

First option. Upside down, screen in. Mainly because that's how it is in my hand when I take it out or put it back. Back-left pocket of my jeans or pants if available. Usually left pocket generally if not available.

Screen facing myself in my left front pocket but that's it, i don't care at all if it's upside down or not (it's usually upside down tho, i think).

Doesn't really matter personally. I guess I try to keep it facing inwards because I cycle a lot. Has come in handy on some spills.

What kind of malevolent deviant does phone rightside up, screen facing out
There are four of you so far

I dunno why, but the capacitive screen would be set off by my thigh when the screen faced in, maybe it has something to do with the material of my clothes? Anyhow, my phone would just go nuts if I was ever listening to anything, pausing, skipping, etc. randomly.

Very few of my pants have pockets and those that do have nothing in them. I hate carrying things in my pockets.

My phone is in my hands almost all of the time.

It's actually seasonal; in the summer when I sweat more (or if I'm working out) I go screen out to avoid getting a damp screen, but in colder seasons I go screen in to protect from any potential impacts. Either way it's upside down since the headphone jack is on the bottom of the device.

How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Barely 30

I been using my current set up ever since I got my first smart phone back in 2011

Ever since then I seen people having the same set up especially at work , church, etc

So you put it in like a fanny pack?

I literally had to google what that was and nope I don't use a fanny pack

I use a otter box defender case that has a hook to put on the belt

Posted a pic of it earlier in the thread

Right pocket, correct way up, screen facing out.

If I have my earphones in listening to music then the same but upside down instead.

Do you live out in the country or suburbs? Legitimately curious.
