Which way do you keep your phone in your pants pocket?

Shocked and disgusted by all the upside-downers. How do y'all take a peak at your phone's notifications without pulling the whole phone out, if the top of the phone is now at the lowest point in your pocket (and also, upside-down)?

But seriously, I have it in my rear left pocket in the upside down position. I usually have my Galaxy Buds in at work so notifications come in over those.

First option. Upside down, screen in. Mainly because that's how it is in my hand when I take it out or put it back. Back-left pocket of my jeans or pants if available. Usually left pocket generally if not available.
I dunno why, but the capacitive screen would be set off by my thigh when the screen faced in, maybe it has something to do with the material of my clothes? Anyhow, my phone would just go nuts if I was ever listening to anything, pausing, skipping, etc. randomly.
Very few of my pants have pockets and those that do have nothing in them. I hate carrying things in my pockets.

It's actually seasonal; in the summer when I sweat more (or if I'm working out) I go screen out to avoid getting a damp screen, but in colder seasons I go screen in to protect from any potential impacts. Either way it's upside down since the headphone jack is on the bottom of the device.

I been using my current set up ever since I got my first smart phone back in 2011
Ever since then I seen people having the same set up especially at work , church, etc
I literally had to google what that was and nope I don't use a fanny pack
I use a otter box defender case that has a hook to put on the belt

The way it goes in is the way it stays, I don't care about it. Sometimes it even stays sideways.
