I’d say it’s the same as any other gen, we’re just more comfortable than ever with talking/joking about it.

Because we are? And most of us are stoned and getting stoned sometimes gets you horny because of the strain, and to be fair not many Gen Z people are actually having sex so being horny is a bi product of that.

Tho speaking on that subject.

That's my secret I'm always horny.
Where's the rest of this gif. You know what I mean.

Every generation ever has always been horny. It’s just a question of how you deal with it and project it.
Considering how bad at this old people were, I’m not sure doing it differently is an issue.

I’d say it’s the same as any other gen, we’re just more comfortable than ever with talking/joking about it.
Exactly !

Time is a spiral and each generation has members that need to exhibit aspects of their self-actualization in the process.
Ass eating and pegging isn't new there's just the new medium to advertise the personal discovery and claim it like Columbus.

Gen Z is definitely exposed to more sex and has an abundance of sex thrown at them in every way. It's not surprising they are so fucking horny. That said...it's just a young person thing.

I know if they had tinder when I was 18 I would have been on that shit like 24 hours a day.

The world is crumbling around us. Right wing governments, Climate Change etc etc

Of course they want to fuck, it's literally the only thing they can do freely

I will say that as a recently single 30-something folks my age are far, far, obsessively more horny and obnoxiously sexual than the most hormonal teenagers I ever knew.

I think fetishes are a really interesting thing and I wish we explored the nature of them more as a people.
What I'm particularly interested in is what fetishes are "new" or do new ones even exist? How do we go centuries without anybody having no attraction to blue hedgehogs to people having a fetish that involves watching a blue hedgehog eat large amounts of food.

Is there something about the world that makes people like this? Is this something primal? Is it really just a matter of exposure?

None of this is an issue or anything but I'm curious.

Nothing out of the ordinary, we just stopped lying about it and can't keep shit to ourselves thanks to the internet.

Because the centuries of sexual repression is actually not the norm. Sexual liberation is driving people to explore their sexuality more. The idea that sex is bad was popularized by abrahamic religions.

So why is this thread about how OP is an old man yelling at a cloud and not more rational explanations like

Access to free pornography of any type at the click of a button
The widespread commodification of dating thanks to apps
Instantaneous communication over direct messaging

?

To be honest there are very few things I find more annoying and awkward than being confronted with "jokes" of that nature that will not be funny to me till the day I die btw or otherwise bringin intimate stuff in front of my eyes when I don't want to look at it.

You don't run around the town naked do you? why is it so cool to be open about it when you're hiding or not hiding behind a screen then?
To each his/her own I guess but I find it exaggerated.

If it makes you feel better, young people today are having less sex and making their sexual debut later than previous generations. Despite talking sex a lot.

As a old humorless prude, I think it’s just that the current batch of sex innuendo and memes have run their course and need revitalization. For example, that’s my fetish may have had a lot of versatility initially but it’s reaching overuse on par with yo mama jokes. New material and creative usage and they’ll be less dull variations of saying someone is horny.

Why yes, I am super fun at parties.

I think its ironic. People are actually having less sex. I'm on mobile so I cant find the studies but I think there were actually a couple threads about it.

I don't know tbh but I find it kinda weird. Sex is messy and dirty, hide that away between the sheets. It's all fun and jokes until you actually think about what a lot of this stuff entails, especially... the ending. You really wanna think about your friends... ending after they joke about eating ass and pegging and stuff? I know I don't.

Because we’re bombarded with daily prime time and commercials that use bodies to sell things so now it’s in our subconscious, perfect material to use as self-defense for our crumbling futures with the economy and global health.

Or you’re just a fuddy duddy

I think the banalization of sexual jokes is actually an indicator that we're able to separate it from sexual desire and are, in fact, not horny all the time.

they wanted to engineer society that way. Now they have it...We've been manipulated some more than others.
