Why do soda taste so much better from an aluminum can than from a plastic bottle?

It's trash. It's always flat. If I wanted flat soda, I would drink Pepsi.
No. The coke syrup definitely comes in plastic bags. That's the soda water that comes in the canisters.
As said, cans are sealed better but also as said.
It goes glass > cans > plastic > fountain, can go flat faster in plastic bottles and other issues, fountain can be way too much of a crap shoot.

Isn't it that aluminum cans are not purely aluminum? What I mean is there's a plastic composition on those cans too.
To be honest, I can't really distinguish the difference in taste between the canned and bottled soda, aside from canned soda easily making me feel bloated. Glass is obviously the "healthier" choice (no chance of contamination from container materials) but bottle offers convenience of easy resealing.

Wait I have figured it out. In general I bet it's more chilled than plastic bottled ones and that makes all the difference.
