I think it's obvious they are. Honestly though while I appreciate how they've moved away from over-sexualisation, I kind of dislike the overall art of Netherrealm's modern games. Everything looks too drab and elaborate for my tastes. I'd prefer the ninjas to look more like classic, basic ninjas and for there to be less scifi. The drabness and subdued sexualisation are what they've done to distinguish themselves from other fighters today, but I miss color and don't feel the latter relies on the former in any way, nor does MK in total rely on being so drab.Has anyone from MK11 team actively spoken about their character designs? I can't help but be constantly impressed with how much their designs are kicking all kinds of ass, especially in a genre that tends to have some of the absolute worst designs. I'm just wondering if they are consciously trying to avoid shitty, over-sexualized designs.
