Now since the korean peace treaty has been signed and moon credited trump for it do you think the peace prize this year will be awarded to trump? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/10/moon-jae-in-credits-donald-trump-for-inter-korea-talks
Is it actually more likely? He definitely deserves it more but Trump is much louder.More likely to Moon Jae In, the person who actually did something towards the peace treaty. He has been trying to improve relations with NK while Trump has done his best to undermine him.
Is this sarcasm? Because as ironic as it was for Obama receiving it, giving it a to Trump would be unimaginable. So no, guys...Trump is not getting the damn Nobel peace prize.
Being loud has nothing to do with it.Is it actually more likely? He definitely deserves it more but Trump is much louder.
Not all Nobels, just the peace ones.
Yeah I don't see anyone involved getting it.I doubt they'd give it to Moon and not Kim since it'd be a peace treaty between those two nations. And I'd really really hope that they wouldn't give a Nobel to a murderous dictator because he signed a paper. Trump can kick rocks.
peace through strength, 12d chessHe threatened North Korea with nuclear weapons. Why would he get a peace prize?
That's good. From the science side of things I don't have a ton of faith in the Nobel community for giving credit where credit is due.
That makes the prize sound like bullshit.he won't, because they care way too much about their own reputation, than giving it to people who might actually deserve it. see obama who was super popular in europe, but did nothing to win it. not saying trump deserved it either, but he would never ever win it no matter what he accomplished, due to who he is.
No peace treaty has been signed yet.
This is brinkmanship and it was in response to North Korea threatening Japan (our ally) then they threatened us with longer range missiles. He threatened North Korea with nuclear weapons. Why would he get a peace prize?
What if it was the only way?I'd hope calling NK's leader "rocket man" and saying we have a bigger nuclear launch button wouldn't be Nobel Prize worthy..
To be totally fair, if Trumps administration helped assist in successfully forming a peace treaty between North and South Korea, and put a stop to North Korea's nuclear program, then that would be deserving of consideration of a Nobel Peace Prize. I say this in staunch opposition to Donald Trump, what he stands for and his impact on democracy and further degradation of conservatism. Of course i remain doubtful that they actually did assist, especially with Pompeo, Bolton and of course Trump, and basically a very weakened state department, and now we're hearing that NK's test site actually collapsed.
While the prize does matter, it kind of is.
NK would have to say that’s the reason why they agreed to the peace treaty.
Still not conducive to peace. This is brinkmanship and it was in response to North Korea threatening Japan (our ally) then they threatened us with longer range missiles.
Brinkmanship has led to detente in the past
