he won't, because they care way too much about their own reputation, than giving it to people who might actually deserve it. see obama who was super popular in europe, but did nothing to win it. not saying trump deserved it either, but he would never ever win it no matter what he accomplished, due to who he is.

That's good. From the science side of things I don't have a ton of faith in the Nobel community for giving credit where credit is due.

This is brinkmanship and it was in response to North Korea threatening Japan (our ally) then they threatened us with longer range missiles.

To be totally fair, if Trumps administration helped assist in successfully forming a peace treaty between North and South Korea, and put a stop to North Korea's nuclear program, then that would be deserving of consideration of a Nobel Peace Prize. I say this in staunch opposition to Donald Trump, what he stands for and his impact on democracy and further degradation of conservatism. Of course i remain doubtful that they actually did assist, especially with Pompeo, Bolton and of course Trump, and basically a very weakened state department, and now we're hearing that NK's test site actually collapsed.
While the prize does matter, it kind of is.
NK would have to say that’s the reason why they agreed to the peace treaty.
