It'll be the first DC movie to drop from 1st to 3rd in its second weekend since Green LanternIf BoP can miraculously hold onto the #3 and #4 spot for a couple of weeks maybe things will be ok.

Ha, ha, well damn! It'll be the first superhero to drop from 1st to 3rd in its second weekend since Green Lantern
Fixed my post to clarify that it's specifically DC.
Oh I see, but yeah that's still bad for DC.
Legit thought it was Jack Black for awhileFor me, Chris Pratt's character acting like a tryhard DnD DM doesn't entice me at all.

Yeah, it would had be nice if BoP did well, but due to it's marketing and such it's going to be rough.
I just want WB to not take the wrong lessons and axe Cathy Yan and her creative team.Yeah, it would had be nice if BoP did well, but due to it's marketing and such it's going to be rough.
Reviews disagree. It's as good as Wonder Woman and Shazam and could have done way better had the rating and marketing been fixed.- I remember Justice League and Suicide Squad on how bad those movies were.
- I remember BvS on how good looking and sounding the movie was.
- Remember Wonder Women and Shazam how much fun they were.
- Saw BoP last week, barely remember anything that happened in it. No a terrible movie at all, also not a great movie, nothing in this movie stood out...including the fight scenes, which seemed like from a low budget tv show. After watching this movie I wantto see a movie with the two villains in the lead.
Its a move made to be forgotten.
It's as good as Wonder Woman and Shazam? BOP has 79% while Shazam is 90% and Wonder Woman is 93%. I mean BoP is considered good and the 3rd best rated DCEU movie so there's that. I agree with the rating and marketing!Reviews disagree. It's as good as Wonder Woman and Shazam and could have done way better had the rating and marketing been fixed.
We gotta look at the wide spectrum of good DC movies. In other words, we gotta be grateful if it's not below 60.It's as good as Wonder Woman and Shazam? Oh that, yeah, that's true. It's pretty good for the DCEU since only 4 DCEU movies so far are fresh. We gotta look at the wide spectrum of good DC movies. In other words, we gotta be grateful if it's not below 60.
They're less screwed than Universal.
I think it's possible that nothing does.
Venom made $200m in China.Question, how well did Venom do in China?
Partially asking because if this goes as long as people are suggesting, I'm curious the impact on Morbius and Venom 2.
If theaters are shut down for 3-5 months then only Morbius will be effected. So Venom 2 and Morbius are definitely relying on China then. Got it

I thought Portrait of a Lady on Fire expanded this weekend? Nobody is showing it around me.
The first Venom didn't make a billion, even with China and I think the second will drop from that.Ah ok. Everyone was saying no one is making it to a billion and I thought that meant people were thinking theaters would be out of commission for longer.
I believe it is going to surprise you just like jumanji. Spider-Man gonna bring in the moolah for venom 2The first Venom didn't make a billion, even with China and I think the second will drop from that.
The Next Level did drop less than I thought, but still dropped $200m worldwide from Welcome to the Jungle even with China.I believe it is going to surprise you just like jumanji. Spider-Man gonna bring in the moolah for venom 2
It's coming out on Switch in a week!
Is not just that theaters will be closed for (possibly) months. When they re-open, a crap ton of movies will have to be rescheduled, and the chinese government for sure will give priority to homegrown movies, so a bunch of Hollywood imports could get lost in the shuffle or have drastically shortened runs.Ah ok. I think Universal will suffer the most from the loss of China. They seem to rely on it more than the other big studios. Is not just that theaters will be closed for (possibly) months. I think it'll have those, especially if Onward is a whiff.3M is pretty good but I was hoping for more than that to get us on the path to beat Pikachu
We'll need exceptional legs

Same as How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. If it performed the same as that film it would beat Pikachu.3M is pretty good but I was hoping for more than that to get us on the path to beat Pikachu

Disney was probably banking heavily on China for Mulan too. Really interested in how that movie will perform.I think Universal will suffer the most from the loss of China. They seem to rely on it more than the other big studios.
Gonna be interesting to see how this year goes when they don't have their usual fallback of "if it tanks domestically, maybe it'll do well in China."
