'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'The Shawshank Redemption' Returning to Theaters in September
Saw the Lawrence event a few years ago and it was amazing on the big screen. I also hated my wife then because it was her first time seeing it and I was jealous her first time was in a theater. The re-releases people should be making a big deal about
Then you'll hate me too 🤣Saw the Lawrence event a few years ago and it was amazing on the big screen. I also hated my wife then because it was her first time seeing it and I was jealous her first time was in a theater.
Na'vi were always a bit too far into the "cartoony" end to reach the uncanny valley.

I also remember what a huge deal it was that the VHS release of Batman 89 was only six months after it come out in theaters, something all studios would soon imitate. For you youngins, it used to be that movies didn't get a home theater release until almost a year after it was out in theaters.
I loved Batman 89 when I saw it in the theater, but that VHS viewing... it aged like milk. Not a great film to watch twice, all the seams were showing.
Returns, OTOH, I watched over and over.
For me personally, I rewatched Returns a lot in the 90s couldn't tell you how it holds up now.
I still can't believe they are releasing Cats the same day as Star Wars. Amazing.
In the 90s and early 00s, I use to like Returns because of how dark and edgy it was.
But compared to the Nolan trilogy that shit is downright light-hearted nowadays...
There probably exists a reality where it could have been decent counter-programming.I still can't believe they are releasing Cats the same day as Star Wars. Amazing.
It's counter programming. There's probably a large number of people who are interested in CATS but not Star Wars.I still can't believe they are releasing Cats the same day as Star Wars. Amazing.
I am sure that was the intention before they birthed this hell-spawn.There probably exists a reality where it could have been decent counter-programming.
Yeah, BronsonLee.It's counter programming. There's probably a large number of people who are interested in CATS but not Star Wars.
I mean everyone was shitting on Aladdin before it came out for how the Genie looked and we know how that turned out.

Should had just made it a sequel to Cat in the Hat.Why do they even CGI cat suit? Are they trying to put costume degisner out of business?
