I mean you're right about the error, but isn't that support already available on One X?
We would have seen more evidence from datamining already if it was real.

I mean, if subs are down and waning, this definitely could be a nice injection of new players would be subscribed for a while.\
How would it work? Who knows. Diablo 3 works beautifully on a console, but that's a different game..

Even if it's supports M&K console player won't having a fun time on PC server i can guarantee you that.
Plus that still hasn't answered the question about full Addon support.

The game already has a $14.99/month sub so I don't see that happening.
It would be a subscription within a subscription which includes another subscription (Gold).

FFXIV did it pretty well. No reason for WoW to not do the same if it's real.
You're very wrong about this at any level beyond casual level questing and even that would be painful.
That would be so good for GP but not sure it will happen. let's see though.
Considering how simplified the game has become over the years why would you need more than 7 buttons with L1 used to give another 7 button options.
There's lots of ways they could do it on a controller ignoring the fact Series X supports M&K anyway.

You've been able to do it with an addon for years, it's actually really fun
I bowed out of WoW four years ago but it still hasn't been simplified to that level. I'm also just imaging the nightmare of managing the UI.
It's weird that it's only Xbox Series X. I'm pretty sure Xbox One would run the game just fine.

A console release of WoW would generate a ton of revenue for them, so it really only makes sense
That's not the part I'm disagreeing with. Even if it barely managed to work for WoW the QOL for many things would be absolutely abysmal with so few inputs.
If Start and Select are HP and Mana pots and the four directional points are used then you'd still need more than 18 abilities that you use regularly?
not if they dropped the 8.99 monthly sub and made it exclusive to GP.
