Would a Reboot of The Crow work as a TV Series?

The Crow getting a rebooted movie has been a discussion for a long time but personally i feel the Crow would work best as a TV Series rather than a movie and they could potentially make it an anthology series like Fargo with each season adapting the different stories of the people that have taken up the identify of the Crow. What do you guys think - do you think the Crow would work better as a TV Series or a movie?

I was going to say "A Crow TV series seems like it would have aired in syndication in '99 at like midnight on the weekends after an unsuccesful one season run on cable, nestled between Mortal Kombat: Konquest and The Invisible Man." and, uh, I guess I was sort of right.
