I've been watching the animated show again, and even though it's got some issues and is definitely a product of the 90s, its still pretty solid and way better than the movie we got. I think remaking it into a live action series could be done very effectively in this day and age. The CG would already way surpass what we got in the movie, and obviously HBO aint afraid of showing the sex and violence and gore. I know there's the new movie coming, but Spawn has already proven to be better suited to a tv series format.
