I'd be fine with crossdressing in a variety of situations even if it's not something I have any real interest in. I'm pretty svelte too, so I could probably pull off some decent looks.

But I wouldn't want to shave off my facial hair, so that would be an issue. And I'd probably need help since I can't even dress myself well as a dude, and I have decades of experience with that.

That can be dangerous. People are incredibly judgemental, stupid and aggressive. And i live in a reasonably progressive country. I can't imagine how dangerous this is in an even more backwards country. If i would do this i would do it for free though. Try to be a little less obsessed with money.

I've dj'ed at gay bars and have been to drag shows, no I would not cross dress for money. There is some Adam Sandler bullshit vibe coming from this thread idea to be honest.

Back in my professional theatre days, I was cast in a couple roles that had me cross dressing as a comedic character (one was for David Mamet's "Revenge of the Space Pandas" where I played the main character's mother, the other called "Dick Whittington and his Cat" where I played one of two hustling salesperson sisters).

Come to think of it, high school choir had me and two others in "geisha" drag for a rendition of "Three Little Maids From School" (which in retrospect was probably pretty damn racist), and that was for free.

But in those days I was built like an ostrich, and that's far from the case now (also, my feet are awful, so no way could I do heels now). So I've already done so, but me doing so now would probably not be ideal and likely extremely uncomfortable/physically painful.

Hypothetically I would give it a try, although money isn't necessary. Not sure if I could pull it off though.

24 hours straight seems rough. Like, if I'm squeezed into a slinky, good-looking dress, I just gotta sleep in that shit?

First of all that other thread was about changing sex not gender and that's a pretty vital distinction.

If I went out dressed as guy and would fail to pass, as a trans woman I would be pretty happy so no risk for me.

And do you know what I did when I was a teenager and wanted to do x but was too embarrassed? Ask a friend if they would do x for money. So if you want to crossdress yourself or are questioning if you are trans then just go for it and see how it feels to present as the opposite gender and see if it really feels opposite.

No, what's the point to this?

"Oh look at me, I'm pretending to be the opposite gender!"

Yes. Not even a big deal.

I just wish I could look half as good as Nicky Wire.

Sounds like free money to me

This seems mostly like a question of "will you get hurt doing this where you live?"

The inherent concept of "would you do it for money" implies that it's something bad that you have to be bribed into doing.

Plus, that aside, most people would do anything for money anyway, so the poll is undermined as it is.

I'd be willing to do it, but the pay would be pretty substantial.

You'd also have to cover all the therapy bills for anyone who sees me in a dress. I can guarantee you it's not going to be a pretty sight.

The thread about changing sex got me thinking, if in exchange for whatever you consider a normal, satisfactory bonus pay at your job, would you crossdress? The rules would be...

1) Your transformation is realistic, meaning its you doing the best you can to dress up, alongside some help if needed

2) This is for 24 hours straight in your local area(s). For the most part of the day you have to be out and about, or indoors, around other people

3)You have to interact with people face-to-face. That means to hold normal conversations with people

4)You have to be serious. If someone notices you, or that you're someone who's crossdressing, you cannot all of a sudden be like "its just a joke guys haha" or "Im doing this for money".

Would you?

Yeah, I've always loved that girlie stuff. My wife and kids are cool with it. I used to post using my female persona but stopped because it attracted trolls. So for me it's not really a matter of the money so much as feeling secure and comfortable in a public environment. I'm happy with who I am and don't mind showing that side of myself.

Easy money but nah. No need to co-opt a culture thing for money. Let the cross dressers be. If they could make man skirts though I'd be all in. Do they make those?

I am already (figuratively) whoring myself out at work so it depends on how much you are willing to pay.

I've cross dressed at Pride events in the past. Really enjoyed the experience. Doing it in my local area would be completely fine too.

Yes, why not? I've already gone out dressed in nylons, a tight top, lipstick, eyeshadow and my long hair in a french braid. But that was years ago, not sure I'd have my surroundings suffer that with my current figure... I'd have to work on that for a bit quite some time.
