And I feel like the main reason Xbox didn't have many 3rd parties last year was was because of E3's cancellation and Summer Game Fest interfering with their planning. That shouldn't be the case this year, but you never know.
I wonder if the whole "Every game will on Game Pass or F2P" came before or after their line up was decided. Did they do that because 3rd party's couldnt get ready in time or did they do it because that was their plan from the start?
Either way the pandemic screwed up basically everyone's plans.
If Capcom has their own show(idk) maybe they'd just put it their instead if they show it at all.

I wonder if Creative Assembly has another game outside of the Total War series in the works. They only have made Total War games since Halo Wars 2 in 2017.
I have no clue about Sega's Japanese studios to even guess if they have anything to show. Is this the year Persona comes to Xbox?

yall think MS maybe gets the marketing deal for Lost Judgement or does that series just go without a marketing deal this year, because I doubt Sony is interested tbh.

IDK about marketing rights, but if Xbox staff are working on the Series X port like they did Yakuza: LAD, then I'll bet they'll want to showcase their work.
I think it would pay Microsoft well, associate the Yakuza/Judgement brand as much as they can with Xbox, and really just double and triple down on that relationship with Sega.
Perhaps even get the remaster of the first Judgement into gamepass.
I dont think the Judgement remaster made a splash with its debut on Xbox, so I dont really see a reason for MS to go for marketing the sequel.
After the huge success of the recent RE games and their little single-player experiment with Jedi: Fallen Order, I think EA may be reevaluating the Dead Space IP. Might be worthwhile for them to make a sequel...
Just watched last year's Halo Infinite gameplay trailer again and I'm absolutely not sorry to say that the gameplay and gunplay were top notch a FULL YEAR ago. This shit is gonna be fire.

It won't happen, but I'd like to see NetherRealm announce their next game at the Xbox event. I'd love to see it on GamePass day 1. (even if unlikely)

Best news all day! I love Dead Space so much and have been hoping it would eventually come back, even if it's just remasters of the original trilogy. Now I have hope.
I m happy for royal for people that didn't play it. But i hope we are getting new japanese games and not always late port gamepass.
like ys 9 for me would be better, it's just on ps4 , the pc port and switch port are for july, it could have been nice a xbox port with gamepass on same time.

Man don't give me hope, these past few months have been a wild ride for Persona 5 rumors on Xbox.
You really want that talented team to take on another established IP? I'm not opposed to it but I'd so rather see them create something first. Gears alone has shown they have some solid ideas, I think they need to create a IP so they can explore their creativity.
It's always difficult and creatively constricting to work on an established IP that you haven't created: dealing with the fans expectations and ideas about what the IP should be, and constantly walking the line between pleasing the old fans and making something new, being careful not to break the established lore that you didn't create--it all sounds exhausting, to be honest. Unless the studio outright wanted to work on an established IP and the IP is ridiculously popular, I'd rather they all just make new IPs.
A Deadspace trilogy remaster is something I would most certainly be interested in.

Taking one of the best technical developers who also have industry leading 3rd person gunplay and pairing it with a beloved dead IP would be awesome.
Dead Space is probably coming back as a remaster trilogy though.
Pretty sure it was ACG/Karak saying Xbox was looking to buy IP on his podcast recently.

I think they took the chance of firing some cheap shots at MS, knowing full well, they'll be doing the same, because they know it won't bite them in the ass.
There's complaints, of course, but a lot of peaople don't care, and for each complain you have another copment that reads like "yeah the circumstances made them do it" as if all they wanted was to do the best for their consumers and circomstances forced them to look for profit, when they were going after the profit since the beginning
Tldr; Sony don't care about the response because they know it won't amount to much and they already got their positive buzz moment

I don't understand the question, both your examples are already on Xbox (and Stellaris, Frostpunk, Cities: Skylines, Two point hospital...)
The best counter I would think is making sure every moneyhat Sony does cames to GP on day 1 of the exclusivity ending, so it creates an expectation on people of "why buy it now at full price when I can play it for "free" in a few months?"

See thats the thing, the amount of positive buzz outweighs the negativity. Sony get to say shit like GoW 2021 even when there is no chance. It builds up hype for PS5 and later they confirm its delayed. Sure there were a few annoyed people but most folk were reasonable about it.
Exact same with "We believe in generations", its exactly the messaging that people wanted to hear then but had no basis in reality. MS get dumped on for saying cross gen etc then Sony can later come out and correct their messaging. Same again, some angry people but not too many.

Arkane seem such a natural fit but then again they already have Prey which is sort of similar. This has to only be a remaster though right ? Can't imagine xbox pay money for Dead Space when they already have something like Prey.
Imo, I think that Grounded (big update teased for late June) and Fallout 76 Steel Reign (releasing in July and already tested in the PTS on PC) are likely.
TESO's next-gen update has been delayed to June 15 so why not another trailer but I doubt it.
Age of Empires 2's Dawn of the Dukes is also planned for summer but I doubt we will see it at E3 as the game is very old.
