I just finished Owlboy today. I wholeheartedly recommend playing that if anyone is curious about it. The gameplay is very linear since it is a story-based platformer-adventure and it's pretty fun. The story itself is really good too and will give you some emotional moments here and there.

$14.99 is the lowest I've seen Owlboy so far as well. It's a good deal.

Close to never. The 360 version was - if I recall correctly - never on sale.

The biggest "discounts" were possible when buying an old version and getting a new one for free (example: owning the 360 version / playing more than x hours -> discounted (~5 bucks?) One version or later owning the One Version -> free Xbox One Version that is based on the Win 10 Edition).

Don't bother. They won't enhance it. The game looks like complete ass on xbox one x. Bought it on a sale and I regret it so much. Last gen games like Virtua Fighter 5 looks ages better than it on Xbox.
