I'm literally buying games that I usually wouldn't (Ghost Recon Wildlands for example) just because it's an enhanced game lol.

Thanks for the list! I've waffled a lot on whether to keep my scorpio pre order or not but I am going to pick it up and play AC Origins on it to break in the system, one of my favorite game series and may as well play it as best as it can display. The big questions will be next year on whether I buy stuff like Anthem on PS4 Pro or X.

Good to see you again Judge! Thanks for bringing the thread along.

Even with most of my games in storage that list shows I'll be plenty busy when I get my X. I'm still blown away by the 360 X implementation; Halo 3 looks so much better that it makes me want to hold off on playing BC games in hopes of more ~4k updates.

This is a bit OT but the person who handled the Xbox deals thread decided to stay on GAF. I am terrible at keeping up with this stuff but I wanted to ask if anyone was willing to take over?

I can certainly try to give it a go.
Used to do a point n click PC thread back in the day.
I can keep it updated on the Monday/Tuesday when there's a refresh.

So glad this thread migrated over.. thanks Judge!.. I really hope the Forza Horizon 3 patch comes close to Nov. 7th. I know Forza 7 is in full marketing blitz right now, but I'd really like to see what playground games is going to do with their build.

It's going to be really interesting to see what other 360 games get enhanced. Red Dead Redemption would be pretty huge. The Mass Effect trilogy would also be great, seeing as we never got a remaster. November 7th is both the Xbox One's launch and N7 Day, so maybe we'll see something about it then?

With Digital Foundry getting their Xbox One X today, I would expect a blowout of coverage next week of them testing all the available launch day updates. Should be interesting to see how much better things are from a base Xbox One

The resolution increase for those 360 games is really cool, and is definitely tempting. But do I need an Xbox One X to take advantage of the 10bit color depth, or will that feature work on an Xbox One S connected to a 4k display as well?

So, Kinect: Disneyland Adventures is getting a 4K update, but Kinect is discontinuing. Seems conflicting. At least we know Kinect will work on the X though

Disneyland Adventures and Rush Pixar support Kinect, but are also fully playable with a controller for the first time. All 3 also have improvements over their 360 counterparts :)

A lot of console games, XBX or PS4 included, use lower levels of texture filtering in order to decrease work load.Typically 8 or 16x Anistropic filtering is a very cheap process (in processing power terms) your typical PC card can do that dramatically improves texture fidelity over distances and at oblique angles. The fact that the X1X has 16x set as default, is a very nice benefit that will help reduce muddy textures on all games.. here's some basic examples of what AF does.

It was mentioned that the Xbox team had spent some time at Bungie and I believe Major Nelson was saying to the effect that Destiny 2 sure looks good. Someone has the quote somewhere

So gears 4 updated and i have download 4k textures selected but game is still around 90 gb
