It might be late at night, but why isn't it a square from an overhead view?Yes, that's the dimensions I used for the cube object representing it in the images.
Triggers are textured, bumpers more pronounced, underside where the batteries go on the one controller is more streamlined for better ergonomics. Added share button, 8way dpad. Controller is slightly smaller than a one controller.
Because the overhead dimensions are 12x6.It might be late at night, but why isn't it a square from an overhead view?
In the image they provided, it's very clearly a square from an overhead view.
Double press for video, hold for screenshot or vice versa.Never used a share button, is there a way to take screenshots/vid via longpress etc?
Now that is brilliant, but I am also still baffled by confusing naming conventions for the third generation in a row now. 360 grew on me eventually but One is, was, and will forever be straight bad.
It is being oriented the same with all the other consoles. You don't see the top of the others while standing verticalIt might be late at night, but why isn't it a square from an overhead view?

The codenames never stick but 'Xbox Scarlett' sounded really nice. Feels like their naming team is trolling, never thought you could out-stupid 'Xbox One' but Xbox One X to Xbox Series X did it.
It's full name is Xbox Series X.So is Series X the actual name, or is that the name of the line and the first console will be called something derived from that?
Yes.
What's there to be confused if you've read the OP?
What? The OP (the bulletpoints) didn't specify much. What's there to be confused if you've read the OP?
Concern trolling much?
It's full name is Xbox Series X.
The implication has been that there will be a cheaper model, and will be called something along the lines of Xbox Series S.
So this is Anaconda then with Lockhart still being left to announce? (Which would be the less powerful model right?)Yes. This is what was Project Scarlett is.
Cool console, not so cool name.
I think you mean the Xbox Series Pi
Xbox Series Pi X
4x as powerful as the XB1X, huh? That's some beast alright. It's quite a monolith, though. Do we have dimensions? Trying to figure out if it fits into my media Center without too much trouble.
Here is a handy size comparison assuming the dimensions in OP are accurate.:
