Thank god, i was absolutely not looking forward to replaying the game just to get to the epilogue. Guess I get to avoid youtubing it.

As someone who played it emulated on PC but didn't finish it, I'm a bit disappointed because though they increased the resolution the textures don't seem that improved. Modders created some really nice high res assets.
It's fine as someone who likes turn-based combat. Unlike XB2, it doesn't have a steep learning curve, so you actually feel you're improving over time. And customization is much better in XB1.
Just considering how much work they are putting in touching up all the parts of the original game, I have to assume they will improve the AI as well.

Not particularly interested in the re-recorded soundtrack. Curious as to whether Melia's been recast (would hope not yet wouldn't be surprised), and more than a bit skeptical of an epilogue focused on her after just how extensively the original story already screwed her over.
Still haven't played XB2, so wouldn't know the significance of the Alvis change.

It looks like the Torna engine which was already a visible step up from XB2.
Visual customization sure, but the build diversity is far more customizeable in XB2.
