The term anime has lost all meaning.
It was always anime.
The designs were good but the models were shit. The new designs are closer to the XB2 style and are easier to model + have a wider range of expression. The original designs were God awful, what was wrong with those faces.
Thankfully they fixed them.
Shulk is not a Digimon protagonist.
More like FFXII "realistic" style to me, mb "inhuman" cuz of low rez, and Def Edition had all the chances to break through it. Not a fan of this new artistic choice. I have nothing against anime in general thoThe character models from before looked literally disgusting and inhuman. The new ones are much more appealing to the eye and actually look like people in a JRPG.
Apparently having more detail and being sharper in general means more anime. It would be hilarious that the only reason people called Xenoblade 1 different from most anime was because it was ugly as sin
Cut content from the original game being added-new 3d characters models
-better geometry,better textures,improved drawing distance,additionnal lighting effect...
what else?
What is looking British though? They actually kind of looked British in the original and it fit the voice actors well.
Implying that Xenoblade Chronicles wasn't already anime as fuck.
How exactly? They actually kind of looked British in the original and it fit the voice actors well.
