I didn't like Yooka Laylee, but this looks much more interesting.

Is that text in the "Impossible Lair" part of the logo made to deliberately look like one of the old default Powerpoint word styles?

Looks like a mix of New Super Yooka-Laylee and Yooka-Laylee 3D Land.

Keeping an eye on it. Liked the first game. ^^

So it's DKC mixed with Zelda? Can't say I expected that at all, but it looks great!

Oh this looks vastly more interesting than the first game. I'm way more down for a Donkey Kong Country than another Banjo.

not a fan of 2D-like jump&run. Hoped for a 3D sequel like the first one. But that's just me.

Looks a LOT like DKC Tropical Freeze, but it could also be that David Wise music. Looks great!

If this is any closer to Donkey Kong Country, then i'm down for it. They got David Wise, so thats a good thing

I kinda wish they had learned from the first game and tried to make a 3d platformer closer to B-K quality, but this still looks nice.

Whoa it looks amazing! I was not expecting the sequel to be 2D but I very much prefer this. I'll gladly buy another DKC inspired platformer.

Glad to see them doing a 2D platformer to help fulfill the Rare legacy. Obviously I hope they still do more 3D platforming in the future, but this is pretty awesome looking.

Yooka Laylee was fine, a solid base, but clearly VERY constrained by a limited budget and wanting to stick as close as possible to the old vibe. Plus that talking fridge was a living nightmare.

This looks many times more interesting. A DKC-style platformer with some interesting overworld elements to mix things up. Hell yeah.

The overhead sections remind me a bit of the isometric-ish style of platformers that were somewhat popular on GBA. I was wondering if those would ever make a return.
