I love my wife and children, and I'd rather be poor than be without them. The emotional comfort I get by knowing they're with me cannot be replaced.

Nope, I wouldn't be able to last on my own. My life has gotten so much better since I met my girlfriend.

Married so wouldn’t apply to me. But if I was already single... that’s an easy yes.

$20 mil is very generous. Now, I'm assuming by "single" you mean just without a romantic partner/relationship? Someone mentioned loving their wife and kids, but the kids would still be there. In a long-term "relationship" right now but, honestly, just about every relationship I've ever had hasn't been worth the trouble of having to deal with someone else's nonsense.

Man, I'd buy a nice little place in a quiet area and I'd get a freakin' dog and be livin' my best life.

You'd have to define "single" more. Like just not get married or get in a serious relationship? Is a casual FWB thing ok? I feel like anyone passing this up would be dumb haha

Yeah. My wife would kill me if I even thought about it, so I'd take no deal. then she'd kill me for not having enough money :(

Any wiggle room - can we divorce but live together?

I take it "single" means I can still have FWBs? If so, deal. Easy.

Marriage is for suckers.

I''ve gone 40+ years without a partner (no real long term relationships), don't see why I couldn't do the rest of my life ;p.

I mean, if "not married but living together and fucking and being best friends" is okay - that's just too much wiggle room.

I feel like the "being single" restriction means, straight up, no relationship, no sex, no romantic feelings, no partner.

Like, this is about "happiness through money vs. happiness through partnership", not about who can lawyer their way around the constraints :P

Results don't shock me one bit. Y'all some lonely-ass people.
Yup. No offense - but whoever isn't in the position to choose to being single or not, should probably refrain from casting a vote :P

If I can still have the fucks and hang out etc then I don't see any disadvantage. You can do all the same shit that you can in a relationship/marriage you just don't have the title or worry of them walking away with half your money.

20mil can get you a lot of escorts, so why not.

It would probably end up cheaper than a normal marriage.

Absolutely not and I just ended a five year relationship a couple months ago. Even if I keep failing over and over there's meaning I find there that money can never give me.

I've lived below the poverty line for a long time, but I have plenty of 'stuff' that I'm happy enough with and 20 mil really only gets you more of it. None of that can make up for what I've gotten and get out of my relationships.

-Do what I want with my time.
-Can still fuck hookers and escorts.

No sex as well? I'm out.

FYI: probably should look up the meaning of "single" before using it.

*pulls out binding agreement*

'Single' so as defined herein means no romantic relationships of any term; escorts or prostitutes/gigolos excluded as long as conducted as a business transaction in exchange of sexual service (though paying for an intimate relationship in any capacity will count as a violation). However, no committal, romantic partnerships, not even 'going steady', will be permissible. Current relationship(s) would be dissolved, no domestic living arrangements in which a residence is shared eligible for negotiation, and the beneficiary must relocate their own residence at least a sizable city away from the former partner. Besides that, periodic associations and visits are allowed, a la typical post-divorce conditions for married households; however, extensive in-person/face-to-face contact for uninterrupted periods of time will be restricted, and no more than 1000 dollars in USD value may be transferred to the former partner into their own personal account/acquisition per week, although purchases made for the other party is allowed. Other relationships are acceptable within the designated platonic thresholds. Amour amiga! ^^'
