has youtube made an offical statement regarding this? I dont see this being picked up anywhere in the media!? what is going on?
The Polish government would have you believe that they are so insecure that they have to enforce a policy that everyone already knows. Anecdotal evidence time: I have worked with Polish people in Katowice for five years and visited there a few times. No one has ever brought this up to me. No one is confused as to who is responsible for the Holocaust. What the fuck is the Polish government trying to accomplish?

Well I got it last night. So creepy and dystopian. I also got an "Israel is not an apartheid" commercial like 6 months ago. Seems like Youtube is fine with propaganda.
The sad thing is that both polish and jewish nationalists have one thing in common - they both pretend Poles and Jews are completely separate groups and you can't be both at the same time. In reality, most jews who died in WWII were Poles and considered themselves as such. Both groups have been living together for thousand of years and you only need jewish mother to be qualify as jew. So both groups mixed heavily. Today like 75% of jews worldwide have some polish blood and most of Poles have some jewish one. Using modern repatriation law most of Israel would be safely able to demand the right of return to Poland.

There was a mix of resistance and collaboration in Poland (though favoring resistance throughout if only because the Germans were intent on slaughtering and enslaving the Poles, just that it was a lower priority than the Jews and never picked up steam to the same level), and Poles did take advantage of the expropriation of Jewish property although the lion's share of what was looted went to the Germans.

So they play around with polish voters despite the fact that they are destroying Poland's international reputation and position. Remember, this is the goverment that voted against the entire EU (inclusing Hungary) to not renew Donald Tusk (a Pole, just from different party) job as EU president and then suffered through humiliating 27:1 vote.
This newest diseaster has really awful reason. This goverment tolerates fascists. They're small group, but they're still loud and could boost you by couple percent. Those idiots even made a art performance on the streets when they hanged the photos of opposition's EU parliment members and police ignored it. But they could be tolerated while not being openly nazis. Unfortunatelly for them one of tv stations infiltrated their group and it turns out they had forest gatherings to celebrate Hitler's birthdays. The populace went crazy with anger to a degree that finally caused the goverment to start prosecuting those idiots and start talking about delegalizing the groups they're members off. But then the nationalists started crying it's a betrayal. So bassicaly this entire mess is attempt to appease the small groups of idiots.

It's been mildly amusing watching our right wing goverment duke it out with Israeli right wing government, but seeing what they're doing now one can't help but feel embarassed. This whole law was not only badly worded, but has now blew up right in the faces. Or maybe it is truly some long term strategy to cash in on our wounded national pride.

Also there is a huge political fight with Germany about North Stream 2 (ie a pipeline that would go from Russia to Germany bypassing Poland) and Poland is scared that this would be a premise to a Russian invasion of Baltic countries, Sweden and Poland.
